ORIGINAL: fastlane For the Record. I have nothing against New York, New YorK People, or the New York Yankees. Geezh, how things get turned around here! Fastlane breaks into his karaoke machine and begins singing. "These little town blues....... Peace, Kevin My dear fastlane .... How did things get turned around?? Well lets see. Wasn't it you who first said "no second chances ever" Followed immediatly be " I must be in a New York state of mind" Now tell me, is not your first statement a most unyielding, seemingly uncaring, and unfeeling point of view? And did you or did you not immediately follow that statement with the one about New York that carries the implied conotation that New Youkers think and feel as you do?? Now lets see is there any other possible interpertation of those 2 sentences? Me thinks not Sir. Now I am wondering however, how one could possibably turn around this most obvious meaning and come up with another plausable one? Gee, maybe it is me, but, I certainly don't see any. I am however, sorry, that I have taken you to task on this point. Perhaps it comes from my background growing up in Brooklyn
