Police issue a woman in labor during rush a citation.

Ridiculous, immoral, unethical, un-human...... And why is it most folks don't like police theses days? What ever happened to the concept of "public servant?" This seems more like "public asshole" to me.

Go to youtube and do a search for Cops.   It's filled with videos of cops being asses.   I know it isn't all of them,  and I know cops do great deeds every day.  BUT it really makes you wonder when you start to watch some of them.

and we had wondered where the next Asshole of the Year would come from.....now we know!

in-human? Sadly, all TOO human.....some folks can be total assholes.

What's surprising is that, in most jurisdictions, police are required (or at least expected) to stop and render aid to a motorist in distress....and a pregnant woman's husband DEFINITELY is a motorist in distress!

Apparently, from what I understand, this officer decided upon this idiocy after 1 or 2 other officers had actually advised the couple to drive carefully on the shoulder in order to avoid traffic.

A few years ago I got a call from my mother at 2 something a.m. telling me my dad was being rushed to the hospital with a heart attack.

On my way there I was stopped for doing 41 in a 35 mph area.  Now any other time of the day no cop will pull you over for 5 or 6 miles above the limit, but this was right after bar closing time and he was trolling for DUI's.

Between the time he was checking my plates, license, registration and waiting for another police car to arrive I spent 20 minutes.  Then, after explaining the situation repeatedly, I was still being questioned about why I was nervous and agitated.  As if my father possibly dying why they were delaying me getting to the hospital wasn't reason enough.

At one point I even asked them to call the hospital to verify what I was telling them.  They finally let me go without a ticket after 45 minutes of playing around, which could have meant the difference between seeing my father alive one last time.

I understand traffic is very bad.   Maybe the breakdown lane should be open period.

the ticket could have been mailed.    tho I think it was cruel.

it does make you wonder how many fake things
