Humble, yes.
Prolific, yes.
Enduring, yes.

Victorious? Not when confronted with my boot!

I hope we don't get to experience who, of the cockroach or of the human being, will fare better out of a nuclear catastrophe, but I heard that those creatures with exoskelletons would laugh at our burnt debris all the way to "victory".

While cockroaches are more resistant to radiation than vertebrates, their resiliency in that regard is somewhat overstated. Fruit flies, for example, are significantly more resistant to radiation than cockroaches.

General reply to the OP.

We are no better than animals, well, maybe a fraction of a percent, and that small percent is because we do have the ability to conceptualize a better existence but we don't do it, or at least the great great majority.

Examples: We realize we are causing harm to others by overconsuming, yet the vast majority will consume at a rate equal to or greater than their ability to pay for that consumption.  Dogs often given something tasty will gorge until they are forced to stop and sometimes will throw up, and keep on consuming. These are the same.

We as a species are controlled primarily via our chemicals, we like to fuck for instance, people are to a very large degree controlled by this central impulse. Making yourself pretty or handsome, is nothing more than peacock feathers. How, many years of most peoples lives is spent, primming, shaving, applying makeup, etc.... And many things like working out are done to increase sex appeal, though most claim its for health and for some it is. So, there is no difference between the less complicated ways of lower animals, and the more complex ways of people in terms of sex. We are just robots following chemical instructions, at least the vast vast majority are.

We as a species are capable of higher thought, but I'd argue, not many of us use that ability. While we are capable of thinking things through generally we are pack animals, thought isn't required in a herd, and that is where the vast vast majority feel comfortable.

Oh, and sports, are complete animal behaviour, it's the same as my dogs trying to play fight and see who can get the others throat, though not for real. What's more animal than that?

Anyway, I'm highly impressed with a few humans, the rest well, I'd save my doggies first.

So far 5% better than animals, the rest about the same, or worse.

I have to admit that I haven't read everything here.  However, I Have to say that The differance between Humans and animals is that Human beings will be the only creature to destroy the earth while trying to destroy each other..... I also don't think that I've seen any other animals with pets.  I mean, other than when I watched my cat play with a mouse for about an hour before biting it's little head off! lmao.

And I think that Mad and RL need to put on their antlers and go duke it out like the animals they are acting like!

As for Mad's jokes, I wouldn't groan at them, and think they are quite funny.  But I am glad that you all have.  I hate to see him go, but love to watch him Scuttle away!!!  hahaha!!

In fact, I closed my profile long before this thread even started.

I have asked you to point out which of my posts had "upset" you and so inflamed your buns of shell.  A simple enough request, but one you seem strangely unable to comply with.  It was made with the intention of providing clarification for you, an offer which you have obscured with your rather pointless rants.

In short, you are rather less fearsome than you might hope.

I really don't think that He is trying to be "fearsome".  And I think that now, you both need to stop. I really believe that Mad is nothing but respectful to people that give respect to Him.  He had taken something I said personally once, and wrote me a private message about it. Everything was worked out, but I believe that if you had a profile, maybe you would get the personal reply that you are looking for.  However, reading this thread, I believe that you won't.  As long as you can keep stiring the pot, you will.  I believe that He has really asked you to drop it quite a few times. But you don't.  And yes, in your defence, niether has He.  But I know that if I was being attacked, I wouldn't give up either.  Mad is very funny if you don't take what He says personally, and just laugh it off. To me, I think that someone has a serious self esteem issue. If you (people in general) think that Everything is about you and in a negative way, work on that self esteem.  And it must upset you that you offended Him or you wouldn't keep asking what it was.  So as for being "fearsome", you missed as well.

And to stay on the topic, just do me a favor you two.... Don't blow up the Earth while you are killing each other!

Mad, Don't get upset over someone dissing on You. No matter what.  You are funny, and do take Your views seriously. I know that I can respect that.  Don't let one twit that can't ruin your stay here on the boards. :)

With respect,

You made outrageous remarks about me which I called you out on. Plenty of people witnessed this, but many others may not have realised you went back and edited them out. Pathetic, cowardly and juvenile.
If you were within arm's length I'm sure your attitude would improve.
Nobody likes you ner ner.
