personally, i only become 'that involved' emotionally with One at a time... too hard to try and focus on One if your mind/heart/ etc are wandering to another....if the 'first One' isn't providing what i need/want/desire, then, it's a clue to me that it's time to move on..

i know this doesn't help your current situation.. but.. as with anything.. go with your gut... we all have one for a reason, and most of 'em work pretty darn well!!

regardless if you 'choose' One over the Other, you'll probably still wonder if you've made the right choice, unless... the One you choose smites you in such a way that you don't look back!

If this question is directed at me, yes in the past several years I have come to realize that I am more poly oriented and do identify as such!

slight hijack....

After posting my response I got to thinking. And thinking and thinking and....

Well, made the decision over my own dilemna. Two guys, both wonderful. One wants ltr with me, other can't commit for reasons he has explained and I have accepted (no, he's not involved with someone else). The ltr guy is lovely, but does not excite me in the way that the other guy does. The other guy can make my knees go weak just by smiling at me.

So...ltr guy is now free to find someone else. The other guy is now 'friend only'. And I'm going to give myself a break to recoup my strength before starting the search again.

To the OP - in affairs of the heart, someone is going to get hurt. Probably all of you. But your big decision is how much they are hurt, and I would suggest that the longer you leave it, the bigger the hurt.
