subboy23y -> "Vanilla" collar. (12/7/2008 1:08:18 PM)

I wasn't sure what to call it in the title, but hopefully I can explain better here. My Mistress has decided that by the end of the year I will begin to wear a marking in public too. I get to choose what it is (with her approval) and I was just wondering if anyone has some creative ideas. The suggestions I have so far is some kind of ring or necklace, but I would love other things besides jewelry, although I don't know what they would be.

Thanks in advance

Interesting that Mistress doesn't have the ideas, though She has left it you. How creative do you want? A soldered necklace, a brand, a rope burn, a tattoo?

Pretty much what you select.

You could do an armband, or wristband tattoo...

the latter is more visible, and most people (if it's discreet enough) will brush it off as a bracelet until they take a second look.

I believe the web address is www.bondagecollars.com and/or Chaotic Creations is the business name.  Check out their collars; they could be worn into a business meeting, no problem, and they're gorgeous.
As far as non-jewelry items, if you're into marking yourself up (Or even if you're not), there is now UV-reactive tattoo ink that can not be seen unless you're under black light.  Perhaps a design with that?  Or, if further body mod does it for you, a discreet piercing?

Oooo... do you know the name of the ink or anywhere I can get more info?

UV tats.

Info on just the ink

Scientist speculate on the carcinogenic properties of the ink?

I'm possibly getting one for the new year.. woo!

Plenty of women wear "chokers" I think they're called.  It's a much more fashionably acceptable alternative to traditional collars.

You could do a strand of hair with beads, some of which could be letters spelling out whatever you want.  "taken"  "owned"  whatever.

Or a key charm on a necklace, string, chain, whatever.  Sort of a subtle symbolic gesture.

for my pet, i'm making him a choker.  it has 3 beads and would be wearable everyday since he does travel a lot.

almost finished...

Not sure of names or anything but I saw it in either a trance publication or a tat publication a couple of years ago saying they'd made the stuff safe.  If you call the tattoo artist of your choosing, particularly one that caters to a raver or trance crowd, they should know about it or be able to gain access to it.  Sorry I don't know more.  Or, good ole google may have some info.  It's UV or black-light reactive.

A previous sub of Mine wore a gold anklet which had an opal set into it ... that was incredibly discreet and had the sense of the shackle about it. As a sub, i wear a silver identity bracelet W/we designed which has v[A] in gold set into it. That works really well too!
