where to find chat rooms/ phone chat lines where you can specifically talk to people from your area?

i've found that most of the online chat rooms have been take over by bots... and that there are very few sites that let you be specific enough to narrow things down...

anyone know of anything?

i've seen ads for Lava Life where i live ...don't know if your area has that

i live in a small town and i see adds for lava life all the time.. so if i call i'll end up talking to a bunch of people in another city.... but if you're in a big city you shouldn't have any problems finding people in that area... now as far as a number or chat just for your area... i dunno.. i tried that one too..and i got nowhere.. but maybe you'll have better luck...

there is a site called mocospace, it's chat rooms are accessible via internet or mobile web and weirdly enough there are lots of lifestylers there, and there are local rooms you just have to search.... ~shrugs~ probably not exactly what you're looking for but it is free of bots.
