I learned about it from a friend on a MMORPG. I got to talking to him and i asked how you would know if you were a Dom/me or sub. He asked me why i asked i already knew the answer. I am always helping people and that is where i find my pleasure is in others pleasure. ^-^

I found my calling (initially) through RP chat (though, that was never what it was for me).  My first Master taught me well that I was submissive.  After we split, I took a bunch of different turns, before discovering the Gorean philosophy.  I felt like I'd come home, and have been a scholar of (and believing in) the philosophies ever since.

When I was pretty young (9 ish, I think?),  I read one of the Gor novels. It seemed pretty cool, so I passed it along to a very butch friend of mine (think of a dyke version of Dolly Parton with short honey-brown hair).  She wore her dad's leather hunting vest and I wore an outfit concocted of her mom's silk scarves, and she carried me around her room -- a little captive 'slave girl'.

I was introduced to BDSM the same time I was introduced to sex. My first boyfriend, who I "lost" my virginity to, was older than me and very interested in the lifestyle.
