Status: offline 		Most of the mails I get are from people who have not taken the time to read my profile 1st. with the exception of two. one is on my journal. The rest have been things from "How much of a strap on can you take,boy." to "Will you be my pet?"

Pet?..Strap on? wtf! Hell no..and on both!

Status: offline 		I don't know if it will work for dommes, but one thing I did when I first started talking to people here was to purposely not put up a pic. (and not exchange pics until and unless I felt a genuine interest in the person I was talking to.
It went both ways though. I did not request pics from them, either.
Since there are so many male subs looking, this may not work as well, but maybe it's worth a shot?

Status: offline 		The very best thing I have ever done is write a profile that is compelling enough to keep reading, and not post a bunch of rules.  It's not that I don't have preferences - I do - they are right in my journal - but as long as someone can be polite and say something somewhat compelling in their e-mail to me, that's pretty much all I need.  The rest just get read and ignored - might as well be Nigerian money scammers or penis enlargement ads.

I do have to laugh at MDoms who say stupid shit like "I have been looking for a sweet girl like you to suck my cock and paint my house and otherwise do stuff I ought to be paying someone for..." and never even notice I am a Dominant myself.  Sometimes they write loooooong missives to me.  Sometimes I laugh so much I pee a little.

I don't think there's really any sure way to get people to bother reading a profile.  I think if anything, your best shot is keeping it short and to the point.  But still, a lot of people can't be bothered taking a few minutes to see who the person is they are contacting.  I don't understand that at all, but it happens.  It's just a matter of petering through the mail and disregarding the ones who you can tell didn't read your words.  And it's easy to tell by what they say.  I just delete and sometimes block so they don't resurface and mail me again in a month.  They do forget.  It's funny I've actually had brief exchanges with men on collarme who fucking FORGET a month later that we already talked and didn't hit it off.

As so many have said, there is nothing you can do to get anyone to actually read your profile before contacting you, but you could look on it as a help in weeding out those who aren't what you're looking for so much quicker. Just think glass half full, roll your eyes, grin, delete and move on.

Hope you are enjoying the site, from what ive seen here i dont think you will have problems in attracting subs. You have a well thought out and written profile, (though i always thought that Americans didnt understand the term Wanker!)
Anyone that dosent have the time to bring roses to you, probably wouldnt make that much of an attentive sub anyway, would they? So then its a good BS filter.

Be patient and wait for the good ones.

failing that post in the forums, complaining that noone ever reads your full profile!!!!

I like this answer a lot. If you want to encourage people to read your entire profile, make it worth reading.

Looking at it another way, one of the WORST things you can do in your profile is to rant about the idiot male subs who do things that annoy you. Sincere subs have no interest in reading a lengthy diatribe about behavior that really doesn't apply to them. And it doesn't discourage the idiots, who aren't reading your profile anyway.

Status: offline 		How about not lecturing on what you don't want and complaining how people don't read your entire profile,etc rather than simply stating what you do want. And writing cutesy little poems,etc.Men generally aren't real interested in poetry.As boytoyinatlaanta stated,cut to the chase and explain what you are seeking. If your offended that a sub doesn't read your entire profile and it bothers you that much,ignore him,block him etc. No need to update your profile to whine about it.Men are wired differently than women and most are really not into reading a 5000 word manifesto. We are subs/slaves but still male. As a slave I want to know what a potential owner is looking for and expects without a boatload of complaining and giberish...Thank you :)
