Yea, I have to admit, that is a show stopper for me.  I won't play on a PvP realm.  For me, they make the game totally unfun.  Ah well...you all have fun!  [:)]

I had never played PVP before but I don't really mind it.  I've only gotten killed a couple of times.
Then again, I always have a DeathKnight 40 levels higher than me walking next to me :)

There is, if you buy the disc. I think you only get 10 days if you download it.

And its going to take a LONG time to download.

when you first buy the game you get a free month of play they still ask for a credit card to verify subcription but you can pay with game cards that can be bought at most major stores... i've been playing for a year now, lk is great dalaran is uber laggy for me i stay away from that city as much as i can lol

anyone here play on the venture co.? i have ally there lvl 75 night elf hunter and other lowbies, i also play on terrokar as horde lvl 64 undead priest, shes becomming my favorite.  i've currently hit my max of toons i can have but roomie and i are thinking about adding another account so i can get his toons off of mine then i wouldnt mind making a toon on another realm. been curious about either shammy or pally lol

Yea, which is why I can't get in this guild. I already have toons on the Horde side and they are the ones I play the most. You can't have toons on both sides on a PVP server. Most of the time it is ok, but every once in a while you get some idiot out ganking people and it can be annoying as hell.

For those readers who don't play, ganking is when you run around and target players 20 or 30 levels below you.


i always have thought that "ganking"  ment when your questing or running generaly by yourself and a group comes up kills you then camps you. regardless of lvl.

ganking = being killed or railroaded not knowing wtf just happend till your dead,
pvp= running head on into battle with others at your lvl range. with hope of gaining a kill,
pvping with a few good friends or more whom you know wont backdown or give up= priceless.
good gear, good weapons, great friends.... for everything else theres always they repair guys.

Ha! same here, my computer cant handle it during peak hours. My screen will usually freeze and I'll get disconnected >.<

Yup, that is also ganking. I have rarely been camped, usually when that happens, I just switch toons and play something else for a while.

I completely agree. I hate PvP as well. I have enough fun with quests and exploring the huge world there without having jerks trying to kill my toons all the time. One of my husband's toons is on a PvP and I hear him complaining like 80% of the time but he won't move from it cause his friends are there -- all the friends complain too. I think if they were real friends they'd move the guild at once an RP or PvE server.

when I get someone ganking my lowbie toons, or my undergeared toons or even my incredibly decked out priest (but she can't actually kill anything, just heal herself and annoy whoever is trying to kill her by making it take longer, I just go get my mage and freeze their faces, then of course they go find 3 friends to come kill me, so I have to get my buddies to come ......we eventually win, and I can get back to questing on my lowbie.

Argh!  Something to tempt me into starting up WOW again...

I agree with whoever it was that recommended City of Villains (or Heroes) instead. :)  A BDSM or FemDom based Villain Group would be great.  And it's a better game for the casual player, IMHO.

Not that I expect everyone to migrate over who's already playing, though...

I was talking privately to one of the other femdoms in the guild and we could not help but notice how handsome and cute the subs are in this guild.  And flirty, too!  It's even more fun than I imagined.  We had the boys dueling naked the other night for our amusement and made a bit of a contest of it.  Sometimes I log on and sit in town all night not realizing I'm not doing anything but talking on guild chat about kink.
