It wasn't a gift persey. It was the time I got to spend Christmas with Sir, and the only time, so far. He sent me to bed early that night, well early for us would be midnight. I fell asleep before he came to bed. In the morning my cat was giving Sir kisses on his face and he woke up so happy. When we went into the living room, there were all those presents under the tree. He played Santa Clause for me that year, and it still touches my heart.
Last Christmas he let me know he was coming over Christmas Eve after work. He had to work the next day and I had family obligations with Mom, so I couldn't go to his house. Just him making the effort to come and be with me was special. This Christmas I cant spend with him, because of my family obligations. Maybe next year, hopefully.
