Hello stevie michael,
My Master is Gorean and as such, they generally speaking are pretty tough fellows.  *Think of the old cowboys in westerns.  But they also value expression of emotions, being true to themselves, living life with passion.  That includes "softer" sides of things.  Master doesn't get all weepy, but he sure does enjoy a hearty laugh, and he feels his feelings.  He doesn't show a lot of that side to me, but I hear it in the tone of his voice with Mistress, the look in his eyes when he looks at her, the way he is proud of his ums when they do something mature, responsible, or courageous. 

Relationships take time to build trust.  Sometimes that means waiting to show the "softer" side of things.  Even for s-types, it can be hard to just plunk open our heart and lay it on the table.  The first time I cried over a very serious family matter I needed to walk away and be alone for a few minutes.  But now I can express those feelings at the drop of a hat, and it's only been a few weeks!

Give it time, and get to know someone.  There is a difference between building trust, privacy, and "hiding" things.

Master shows his soft side (if you want to call it that) when he tells me he loves me, he can even tear up saying it sometimes [:D]

Master also really loves dogs, when he is playing with them there is a softness there too. (or an affinity might be a better word) but its nice to watch.

Master is really caring and gentle after he has given me a good beating too [;)]

Sorry, but just the thought is enough to gag me. If I had wanted gentleness from him, I would never have stayed with him. Just me, but there it is.

Dominants are not machines. They have the same range of emotions that everyone else has. I would not call it a feminine side however, I would just call it a human side. I personally would not be okay with a dominant who cried all the time or anything but to show a nurturing aspect of their personality is something i personally desire. Showing vulnerability from time to time is a human aspect of relationships imo.

My Master is a pretty tough guy, with me though he is just himself.  He knows he is tough, he doees not have to walk around showing the world.  He is gentle with me but not too gentle.

He is as emotionally intimate as I am. But do I need him dissolving in tears at a movie? Not really, that's more my line. Did he cry when he lost his cat? Certainly, he's a person not a robot.

If I needed to be involved with someone more female, however, I would have sought out a woman not a man. He's tougher than I am, more able to separate emotions from facts, and I need that in him. I don't need someone who is my counterpoint because then I would wind up leading the relationship.

Edited because I saw your other post. If you are asking whether a female sub would submit to a cross dressing male, then you need to ask that. My best guess is that most of us wouldn't. I can understand that some men have such desires, but a man in women's clothing doesn't inspire arousal in me. This is similar to why so many men prefer their women in dresses and skirts and heels, the stressing of the physical stereotypes of sexuality is arousing to us.

each individual has both masculine and feminine components of the psyche. For a male the feminine component is the anima, and for a female it is the animus.

I was asking how YOU defined the characteristics, personally.

I asked mostly because there's often a mismatch in definition and you do seem to have suggested that macho, masterful guys are either hiding part of themselves or afraid to show part of themselves.

Master shows tender side when i'm feeling sick or otherwise depressed. i don't think that having Him being gruff with me when i'm sick or not feeling fully 100% is actually something that i  would want...

I picked a man to be my Daddy and my dom who wasn't all thump chest macho, never feels nothing and is invincible.

Daddy has no problem showing his soft side, and I like it that way. Except maybe there was the one time I really needed him to be strong for me cause I Was facing having my dog put to sleep since he was to sick to save, and Daddy wouldn't talk about it with me cause it made him bawl harder than I was. So when we went to sleep that night I was terrified of waking up next to the corps of my doggie* We had him home for one last night* And I couldn't talk to daddy about my fears or my sorrow, cause he'd just start bawling and say I Can't talk about it please stop mentioning it.

My Master is a manly man, but at the same time, hes a big ole teddy bear.  He shows his soft side when he rolls over 70 zillion times in a night to make sure I am still warm and covered, or when he kisses my forehead in my sleep.  He is even sweet and gentle when his hand is wrapped around my throat...lol.

Mistress is very much the caring and nurturing type with me.  She is very tender, passionate, and lovey-dovey with me and I love it.  While I do enjoy it when she turns on the evil, gothic goddess persona, her tender and nurturing side is what I love most.  She is an absolute joy to be around on an everyday basis.  I could not have found a more perfect domme for me. It appears he is questing to hear/learn that there are either women out there who desire a feminine man or men out there who feel the same way he does.
 
To the OP, you need to quit worrying about what others think or do and instead focus on being what/who you are, what makes you happy.
 
This fear you have that enjoying feminazation makes you less of a man and therefore undesirable is pointless.
 
Yes, there are those who will say it does. Screw them, after all, do you think it makes you not a man? That is the important question here.
 
Trust me, for every person out there with a different desire, there is another person out there who matches them.
 
I see you list yourself as a dominant. So are you a dominant with fantasies/desires to dress/think/act like a woman? Or are you a guy who desires feminazation or has submissive urges yet feels it is unmanly to be that way?
 
Which ever it is, you need to learn to be happy just to be yourself.
 
I am a female slave. Yet i speed a lot of time dressing like the guys in whose sport i compete in the mens division. Does this make me less of a female? Nope, it only lets me race in the arena i feel comfortable participating in.
 
I build custom bikes, do repairs on them, do reconstruction work on our home, do all the basic maintenance on the household vehicles. It is what i enjoy, what i am happy and comfortable doing.
 
There are certainly those who consider this very unlady like. Guess what? They just do not need to be around me, that is all.
 
It comes down to learning to be comfortable in ones own skin. Once you are others will accept you that way. If the do not or cannot chances are they are not folks you want to associate with anyway.
