Status: offline 		This is a function of news services going under. In the old days of news, you couldn't publish anything without confirming it with 3 sources. It evolved into 1. Now - if its on the internet - run with it!  The National Enquirer has as much credibility as the NY Times, and has actually beaten them on some stories.

Why can't the PE just be pissed at a fellow Democrat doing something this stupid? I guess the same reason that the Democratic party in general hasn't. This is 'standard operating procedure' in BOTH parties. It's why there are more 'right' and 'conservatives' being placed in the PE Obama administration than there would have been in an McCain administration. 'Status quo' is what both parties strive.

Yup,the 'internetz' has changed things a lot.

It`s much harder to lie and get away with it,for long.

It used to take much longer for the truth to become true.

oh no way am i angry ....just the opposite...i am gleeful!  GWB has almost ruined and buried the pub party and PE will have his 8 years to do the same to the dem party.  that is just what folks that think like me are waiting for!

This is due to the ever popular "24 hour news cycle"; news sources (mainstream or not) jump on an allegation without researching first.
