Can't they pass some sort of legislation barring Keanu Reeves from ever making another movie? What are we paying these legislators for, anyway?

Agreed. The sad part is he gets $10 or 20 million even if the movie loses money. Desecration. Sheer desecration.

Looks like it is right up there with the two remakes of "War of the Worlds" In other words, not worth the price of admission.....waiting for it to hit the non-premium cable movie channels. Though I did record the original "The Day The Earth Stood Still" tonight so I could watch it again...classic!

And i liked Constantine. Overall he is a shitty actor but every once and a while he does a good movie.

i attend the critics' viewing for this movie ...they should have changed the title - nothing like the original save your money for The Spirit

It's not his parts that are the problem, it;s his acting. He lacks the ability to be someone other than himself. Which is why his acting sucks most of the time.
