I hate being grubby. I hate getting sick. I hate the world sometimes. This is one of those moments. I hope my fricken meds kick in so I can be the awnery scrooge that I usually am. I don't care about looking pretty of sexy. I just want to feel good. I want a shower, shave and my stupid nails clipped.

I peer out into my yard... a yard that I designed.   It is a wonder and a joy.

I hate feeling so blah.   I havent had a shower in 3 days. Is this normal...is this part of spinal cord injuries, is this part of the fucking meds I take?    Dont reply.

Just know that life is not always what we want or we like.

how true. But i am pretty convinced that the key to happiness is NOT having what we want or what we like, but rather making the most of what we do have in the here and now.

thanks all!

I 1/2 crave a cup of coffee. that is a sign of a bounce back. when I then want food that is a sign as well.

the sun wants to peak thru. at a certain point, I then will clean up. I seldom get colds. Just knocked out. That can be any time of the year. So far so good. :-)

I can fully appreciate what you are experiencing. After I was run over by a car years ago, I hated my body too!! I felt it had betrayed me, yanno? I was crippled & unable to do the slightest thing that I took for granted before. I was pretty much pissed off for the first couple years. I used the pissed off to get way better than anyone expected & to do it a lot quicker too. Use your anger!!

Um, no it's not normal.

I guess some cultures still do. Even in the US, at one time a weekly bath was big.

Im all cleaned up right now. yay. I had been in bed all blah. Not the flu. Just life. Im better right now. The wind could stop.... I very much need to go to the store.

The worst of my injury is behind, I would like to think. I hope.

It would take a long time to fully explain how things go. Anyhow, even the black outs are not as intense as they once were. But it does zap me every now and then to show me who is boss.

I by no means am the worst there ever was. I made the best out of it, in many ways things are quite good.

Yay to a day as usual. We never appreciate what we have until it goes missing.
