A couple in Tracy CA are running a contest to their home. Mortgage clear...only responsible for taxes. Yet they would get 1.5 million at $150.00 per entry. Here is the link: http://www.tracyhomegiveaway.com/index.html Thoughts??

That is toooooo funny. Part of the commentary on some of the local news is there isn't a home in Tracy that would be worth 1M. I think part of that sentiment is due to the local area...Mostly ag...commute town...and such things.

And warehouses. Tracy has built it's reputation on being nothing but a bedroom community. It's tract homes and subdivisions. People live there who can't live in the Bay Area or Sacramento. Eh, if it works for them, fine. I commuted from Madera to San Jose for a while, and I won't do that madness again. I still remember the one and half hour commute to go 10 miles. [:'(] On a good day. Good ol' rush hour traffic at 530 am..... [>:] Rain (See why I transferred to Idaho when I had the chance? My commute went to 45 minutes for 50 miles!) [:D]
