My mom's perfume is very good at "perfuming the building"  It's a very very potent perfume and one spray will do you ALL day long , and she likes to put like 3 or 4 spurts of it on, and it's so strong you can taste it in the air. Perfume like that wasn't ment to be spritzed on it was meant to be dabbed lol If I get in the car with her after her liberal dousing of the perfume I have to roll down the windows or I can't breath with out choking on the foul taste and over powering scent of it.

I always wear perfume, but you have to be VERY close to smell it on me...  I am perfuming myself, not the building!

One of my college crushes had *just* the right smell...  some really intoxicating pheromone that made thinking sensibly very hard indeed.

Everyone has a unique personal smell. It's not a fetish of mine, but I do know I'm not going to find someone attractive unless xhe smells good. It's not a function of perfumes, either, though finding someone who knows what scents complement and enhance their own is a good sign for their general perceptiveness and emotional health.

I can sort my t-shirts and my husband's t-shirts (we actually wear the same size, and I often buy simple men's tees for layering purposes in winter)  by scent, even right after they've been laundered, even when the detergent is perfumed, hot water is used, etc. But I'm sensitive like that.

And I admit that when I am feeling emotionally fragile and he has to go to work, I wear his t-shirts so I am wrapped in his smell, which is calming and steadying to me.

Actually, it's not an unpopular kink.  It is called scent marking and you can find some threads with the subject.  Just search the term "scent marking."  I've written a few posts about it.

Scent marking can be lots of fun. I like to rub it all over a sub (face, hair, arms and neck)  then send him to the store smelling like me.

I'm a big fan of the natural scents of a woman, but also love things like waking up and smelling her perfume on the pillows or if I'm walking in a mall or whatever, smelling someone else wearing her perfume and triggering the thought of her in my mind. One of my ex's used to steal one of my dirty t shirts when she'd go away on business to have something with my scent on it. I don't know if I'd go that far, but it's something that I definitely miss about being with someone, those little triggers and things that bring smiles to our face.
