In the stores, in the streets, the malls... people who would otherwise normally keep to themselves, will meet each other's eyes. Smile. Share comments over the vegetable display. I like when a grocery checker who is looking really stressed out, gets a customer who takes the time to smile at her and wish her happy holidays, and for that one moment, you can see her stress dissipate, and a spark comes to her eyes as she responds, and even when that customer is gone, she turns to the next with more heart.

More than getting presents, I like giving them... choosing things I hope will please the recipient... and I love doing beautiful giftwrapping... it's almost to fetish proportions <laugh> My favorite Christmas music?
