Has anyone heard from the ole Bear?
It seems he's been missing in action since the 16th!!!
I doubt it's Hibernation, isnt it summer over there now?

I haven't but I have a friend who sort of knows. He is just taking a break. Like many, MANY other good people here are.

Lots of Aussies travel for Xmas; not sure about the rest of the world....

And it certainly is Summer here - been high thirties and low forties most of the week. If he's anything like me, he'll be inside with the a/c on and posting if he were home. For now, assume he's on holiday and give it another week or two....

Those down under have a different Juletied than you and I...........I was also worried about the ol' geezer but I have cecked and apparently they also have a summer and a barbeque season (they call it barbi) and he is enamoured with his place in life and don't really think about all us that have no truck with paul hogan until he .............

He is not magnetic in the vernal equinox; near as I can tell,

Ron

Lotsa families in Oz make the most of the Chrissy break and go the extra yard in catching up.

Consider that Australia is almost as large as mainland USA but with much less than 10% of the population (about 20 million here), and it's not difficult to see how familes get fragmented by great distances.... I've just returned from visiting my sister in Melbourne - a thousand k's south of here. And I haven't seen my brother in several years as he lives in Seattle, USA.

Of course the worst is possible re IB or anyone else, but go with the more likely for now....
