Grats on the marriage!

I'm taking a friend to an open AA meeting - believe or not, AA peeps know how to have a good time! After that we're having a neighborhood get together. I just moved into this house 6 weeks ago and can't believe my luck that I found such a fun group of people to hang out with.

Much health and happiness in the coming year for all :)

You should have flown up to RI, and partied with us (genetic family with a few friends)... I'd have to warn you though, the ladies get very friendly after a few drinks (with 30-40% alcohol), and might take advantage of you after midnight. M

you could always come here and enjoy the rain; will have fire in the fireplace and really wild asian animals indoors. should be a warm good time. we're very animalistic here, too.

In reality, I'll be right here on the couch with the kitties. Watching the Law & Order marathon, monitoring the doings on collarme, maybe some phone calls. They don't call me Mr. Excitement for nothing.

Dear Lady Hibiscus,

This sissy has made some very exciting yet quite complex plans for this New Year's Eve. In fact, sissy has been putting his heart and soul into planning this very special evening for the last four days now ... and, as it so happens, sissy only actually completed putting the finishing touches to these exciting plans just a few minutes ago. <yawn> Let's see now, what time is it? [:(] What a pity though, it really was gonna be a tremendously wonderful New Year Eve bash ... 3 rock bands, 2 blues groups, a reggae band and jazz quartet, the NY Philarharmonic Orchestra, Howard Stern, Robin Williams, and a Ziegfeld's Follies across 4 indoor pools with fountains. Tons and tons of fireworks (sheesh, sissy had to spend 2 whole days driving around South Carolina gas stations just to purchase them all!). Virtually everyone at CollarMe was invited and everything .... [;)]

Well, really must be going now, Lady Hibiscus, as sissy has to start canceling all the arrangements he has been making these last few days ... oh boy, sissy will be in really big trouble if someone mistakenly turns up for this gig. [:)] Not only that, Pink Floyd and Led Zep have some pretty stiff penalties in their contracts for late cancellations, so sissy really has to get his ass moving here ....

Congrats! Not sure what the current status is because I've heard conflicting reports {regarding troop movements}, but I hope between the two of you something happens that keeps him out of the Iraq/Kuwait or what have you.
