Regarding your question - my position would be that of course a dominant may discuss whatever he/she chooses with his/her property(I will use that label for now as I find it covers all bases). However, I did not get the impression that the OP and her dominant had a discussion. He changed his plans to please another, possibly himself - that part isn't clear. From Masters POV, he would never alter plans he had confirmed with me unless there was a clear reason such as illness or emotional problems, this I have already been informed. The man in this scenario could have spoken with his property before agreeing to seeing his ex - on her birthday, on boxing day, on a day already prearranged with his property. Him not doing so clearly indicates he has no understanding or possibly care, of his property's emotions and feelings.
In all honesty Lady Pact, I do not see any dominance in his actions and I for one would not be able to submit to man who relinquished authority so easily to two different women allowing for the old come back - 'well I did what you asked' to excuse his actions if confronted by either.
