"The Christmas Song" (You know..."Chestnuts roasting on an open fire...")
But, it has to be the Nat King Cole version.

My dad has the original vinal!  It was his first record ever.  He's going to be 53 in January, and he sitll has it.  It's his pride and joy.  He made like a shelf kind of thing to hang his albums up on his wall, and that was the first one that went up.  I love that song!

I am partial to "Merry Christmas Darling" by The Carpenters...As for horribly wrong ones, I like "Santa's Baby" by Jackie Beat. Look for it on YouTube..it is horribly wonderful...To perform, I like to do "Santa Baby" or "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"..but I have been singing That Carpenters one I love so much......[:)]

Need to get ahold of him, and convince him to make me a copy! ;)  It's such a fun album, and really has some gorgeous writing and composing on it.  That's awesome that he still has the original vinyl, those things don't tend to last long.

Oh, he has like over a thousand record albums.  I don't know if he can or not.  If he can, maybe I will see about getting you a copy!

Hehe, I was mostly teasing about that, but thank you.  I just have so very many fond memories of that album from when I was a wee kitten.  One of those that, if I go lay by the tree and close my eyes, I can hear the entire thing in my head still to this day.

Should have been a sign of my insanity and a warning long ago to everyone, even as a kid I would listen to christmas albums all year 'round. :)
