Personally, I cannot imagine an "orderly" BK under the cirumstances. I'm assuming that Bush is simply talking tough to improve his leverage in any deal. Then again, I thought he was using the UN resolution about force in Iraq as a negotiating tool, and he surprised me then.

Honda and Toyota aren't even close, and they are already thinning out their trucks and SUVs, something companies like Chrysler can't do...because they don't make anything else.

Dodge Durango (which is dead as of today), also Chrysler Aspen, Dodge Nitro, Dodge Journey (crossover), Dodge Ram of course (their big seller), Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country (minivans of course, but not good on gas), Pacifica (crossover/minivan), etc. Chrysler dropped the Neon since they were unable to compete in that segment with the Japanese and Koreans (small cars). Their new midsize cars have been a disaster. And the 300C/Charger/Challenger are a dead end since parent Daimler gave them up for adoption. They had their deal with Chinese (Chery) cancelled recently, and the only cars they have in the pipeline are going to be rebadged Nissans (Renaults). It is sad, because it didn't need to happen this way.

He also built the middle class. The only reason Ford is in better shape is he set his family up for future generations, and they have taken better care of the company than those whose name isn't on the building. If you hate capitalism so much maybe you can get on a 50 year list for a Trabant like they had in the Eastern Block.
