Found this on the lesbian forum I go to from time to time. A couple of months ago, you would have been torn to shreds for saying anything against Obama....seems like hunting season has opened up now. He is fair game over there and they are not happy little campers at all.

The Daily Telegraph is the 'leading' conservative newspaper in England.

Just adding a little perspective to your theory.

The article really doesn't have anything to do with my theory. It is totally based on all the whining and crying I am seeing on the Lesbian forums. Well that and the people I have actually talked to in person who are pissed as hell at the man and he hasn't even been sworn in yet.

Sometimes the source does not matter to perspective.

I'm the farthest thing from a supporter of the Messiah, but this just goes to show you can't please everyone.

And they are completely ignoring the fact that the minister he's invited to do the closing prayer has spoken out in favor of gay marriage and rights.

Geesh... try looking at the entire picture folks. Like it or not, the President is supposed to be president of the entire country not just one or two groups. I think that so far Obama has included a lot of people with whom he has somethings in common. For example this minister they are complaining about also supports other issues such as the environmental concerns that Obama claims to care about and talks about other types of social action Christians should take. He isn't a one or two topic preacher.

The choice of pastor for such an occasion to me is a trivial matter.

More importantly is what happens during this first term and also what relationship the Pope has to the LGBT community. These are the bigger issues.

I agree with that, but I don't think this pastor was a great choice.  I'm dying to know what percentage of voting homosexuals voted for McCain.
