Richardson's Staff: We Didn't Hear the Question about the Grand-Jury Investigation, Honest

Seems to be a common refrain from the Administration to be: "No Comment".

Better for them not to comment on a lot of things, considering the amount of sharks who are waiting to trip them up before the inauguration has even occurred. What do you expect, seriously?

This is supposed to be the "Change" administration is it not?

Everything is supposed to be open and transparent and above board, is it not?

Surely someone selected by Dear Leader can't have any skeletons rattling around in his closet.

As for what I expect out of the corrupt cronies of the debased Dear Leader....Richardson's cowardly running for cover is pretty much in line with my expectations. What else can one really expect from slime?

I think they're just trying to lower expectations cl, working hard to bring them way, wayyy down.

I mean, as kitten pointed out, Obama's not even sworn in, and yet his people are already nose deep in raw sewage.

What else could possibly be going on?

The only sewage is the one thought out by the Republican bad loosers who can't stomach the results of the election. Get over it: there's a crisis out there, in case you haven't noticed.

What has that idiot Blago got anything to do with the new administration, except what your perverse political fantasies have him do :-) ?

It's interesting how the story keeps changing. First Obama came out and said no one from his staff had ever spoken to Blago about the Senate seat.

NOW, however  -

DEEPER ROLE? | Pushed Jarrett for Senate seat

President-elect Barack Obama's incoming chief of staff Rahm Emanuel had a deeper involvement in pressing for a U.S. Senate seat appointment than previously reported, the Sun-Times has learned. Emanuel had direct discussions about the seat with Gov. Blagojevich, who is is accused of trying to auction it to the highest bidder.

Emanuel talked with the governor in the days following the Nov. 4 election and pressed early on for the appointment of Valerie Jarrett to the post, sources with knowledge of the conversations told the Sun-Times. There was no indication from sources that Emanuel brokered a deal, however.

A source with the Obama camp strongly denied Emanuel spoke with the governor directly about the seat, saying Emanuel only spoke with Blagojevich once recently to say he was taking the chief of staff post.

What can you do, Sanity? They've got the power  . You'll have to hope for the best next election.

What can I do. Laugh, and say "I told you so."

This is going to be a fun four years...

Actually, there are several....and a fair number of them are going to result in some Democrats getting fitted with orange jumpsuits.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Because the Republican party is such a shining example of moral standing and uprightness  . I tell you what: you admit that there is corruption everywhere, and we'll take it from there.

Otherwise, it's obvious that there is absolutely ZILCH chance of having a reasonable discussion with any of you frustrated people :-) . You're such sore losers, it's becoming tragic to watch.

Politicians are corrupt everywhere.  That much is not news.

However, when Dear Leader and his corrupt cronies pontificate about "change", the only reason their own moral failings aren't comical is that they are so damned pathetic.

Of course, "pathetic" seems to be the gold standard for the Democrats these days, so it's only fitting.

Perhaps an "Obama's a bastid and we don't like 'im: whine here!" thread in the Polls and Random Stupidity section is in order.

You're just jealous because you know you won't have George Bush to kick around any more.

Don't you believe it: Bush has given the world plenty of material to kick his memory around for generations to come.
