Wow two threads in one night.....pretty much more than the total number of threads I have started.....ever!!!!!! 
I have been pretty quiet on here lately as I am in shock...... my favourite Aussie band and their record label (it cracks me up that the record company - a worldwide one, was asked to give permission for some unknown insane fan to write a blog) have okayed a suggestion by their publicist that I start a blog about gigs of theirs I have attended and um...... whatever else people talk about in blogs. This will be linked to on their official website but they have told me that I can still be as errrrrr ..... honest as I usually am about their performances and everything.
They gave me the news early this week though it was first suggested to me about a month ago. I just blocked all thoughts of it every getting the go ahead out of my head as it seemed so unbelievable but now I have to actually make a start and make some decisions and then start writing....oh no!
Just one problem.......I have never blogged before HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!
So far blogspot and wordpress have been suggested to me. Any thoughts, experiences, other recommendations?
Anything else that I need to know as a novice to the world of blogging? (I have always written a lot to message boards but this will seem so different as I won't be reacting or bouncing off someone else's comments).
I will give you all the link and the band name once I have it up and running.....which should be around 2010!!
