Present is also a very challenging position, especially when I command the "present" position during some punishment of the rump [:D]

To command present, and the sub doing so, even though they know that they will have some punishment attention of some sort, them focussing and presenting again, time after time, really floats ma boat lol.

Because I train any slave collared to Bruin Cottage along Gorean lines an d protocols I have developed a liking for several of the possitions more often  seen in RP but what the hell it suits me..

Nadu:
This is the most basic of all the positions. This is the position a slave is in most of the time.
She kneels before her Master, her head held high, eyes downcast, knees spread wide open, shoulders back keeping her back straight (or arched slightly), breasts thrust outward. Her hands lie on her thighs, palms facing upward. Although her hands may be crossed behind her back.

Capture Position:
She lays down upon her back, bending her knees to place feet flat against the ground, hands at side and remains motionless ready to be captured.

Don't worry - it's a good question! People are always going to be fuss-budget-y about definitions and what-not (I should know because I'm one of those uber-nerds sometimes...)

I have a position similar to the one you mention that I recall with fond memories.

It's similar to yours, but with a spreader bar at the ankles keeping her legs fairly well apart, and then her wrists either brought back and bound to her ankles, or bound together and then brought back between her knees and bound to the center of the spreader bar (the hands won't reach all the way back to the bar, so use a short length of rope to secure.)

Some pillows under the front of the shoulders are nice so that a lot of weight and pressure isn't on the sub's neck. It isn't a comfortable position to keep for very long, but it can be quite nice.

I would say that my favorite position is to sit next to Master and resting my head on his lap while he pets me [:)]

my favorite submissive position would have to be simply kneeling before Him.  i know compared to some other postings its not that fantastic but for me, being able to actually kneel and hold that position is a major accomplishment especially considering i need both my knees replaced.  Master doesn't require it of me because of that fact but it is something i beg of Him to allow me if even its done upon pillows and for a short time.

Agreed,seems redundant as I do not have the time in my day to sit still in a position for very long! My MasterDaddy did  teach me the positions  as part of my training though a  long time ago.

I rather like being hog-tied, and when that isn't an option for whatever reason, I, too, have to go with the classic "kneeling before him." It's very vunerable yet very intimate at the same time.

I'd have to say my favorite is her curled up by my side, with her head on my chest facing me and looking up at me. It melts me every time.
