Ok I could not resist: what are your resolutions for the New Year?

I never make any but this year I did:

1. Create a stock portfolio
2. Get the house and our lives back on track
3. Make and implement an intelligent plan to train the horses
4. Learn to Tap Dance
5. Grow the relationship with the boy and hopefully ... <grins>
6. Learn from My dear F/friends here
7. Spend another year listening to and teaching My unmentionable

Love and Laughter to you all in 2006

Mine is to be outdoors more often this coming year. And, of course to be the best Mommy I can.

I have two of them.

Finish this bloody dissertation even if I have to have no life to do it!

Stop drinking all carbonated beverages -- I now only drink on special occasions or when we are at restaurants but I really want to stop even that.

I've found that kidnapping the cat of the committee head can move the process forward.

One of those graduate school pieces of wisdom.

:::::::::bowing down to all dissertation-laden souls everywhere!!:::::::::

I don't usually resolve to do anything specific----I just plan to keep doing the good things that I am doing, try to do them better, and avoid doing things that are hurtful to myself and others.

Misstoyou -> RE: NY Resolutions (12/31/2005 12:37:41 PM)

I always have the same ones every year, lol:

1) Make more time to write
2) Make more time to play the piano
3) Make more time to exercise *outdoors*

(does one see a trend?...)

4) Get more sleep (!)

My lifestyle interests seem to take care of themselves...one *must* have one's priorities straight. [:D]

fyreredsub -> RE: NY Resolutions (12/31/2005 1:03:25 PM)

i keep saying if i had wanted "patience" i would have been a doctor[:D]

Happy New Year's ya'll

KatyLied -> RE: NY Resolutions (12/31/2005 1:26:57 PM)

My NY's resolution is .... to make no resolutions.
Resolutions don't work for me. I will later feel guilty when I don't live up to my lofty expectations.

fp2012 -> RE: NY Resolutions (1/1/2006 9:40:30 PM)

To finally get my E rating in foil. It was last year's resolution that never happened *sigh*. I should be able to stab my way there soon though. Happy New Year y'all!
Cheers, cxxxxx)===============>

My resolutions,

1) Start losing the 15 inches around my waist.
2) Start talking with people more. (try to be less of an introvert)
3) Learn to manage my money.
4) Clean up my credit history.

FemDomHouTx -> RE: NY Resolutions (1/2/2006 5:30:54 AM)

I hereby resolve to enjoy the hell out of life and ignore those that seek to prevent same.

Tristan -> RE: NY Resolutions (1/2/2006 7:17:43 AM)

Do less work and take more credit.

IrishMist -> RE: NY Resolutions (1/2/2006 9:20:09 AM)

I try not to make any resolutions, that way, no promises get broken along the way.

What can I say, I am not very original

/shrug

happypervert -> RE: NY Resolutions (1/2/2006 2:21:59 PM)

My resolution is to park my butt on the couch on Jan 2 and watch college football bowl games until my eyes start to bleed.

I know whatcha mean.

I'd like a set of Boyer Coe's, and I'm working on it, but it may take a bit longer than a year. LOL! [8D]

To visit all my old homies from Northern Cal alot more often than I have been.

And to read/finish every book that I've purchased during 2005.
