As a FemDom... I guess I'm fairly empathic. I don't HAVE a cock and balls so I can't quite wrap my head around why guys like CBT. I'm just glad that some do. Other than that, I can feel for ya, baby. (I can feel you up to! It's so fun to be the D.)

I am somewhat empathetic.

It really depends on the person, the situation, their past history, etc etc....

I have empathy towards others. I don't really know why a person would add the super to it. You either have empathy or you do not.

I'm fairly empathic, and for that reason, could not dominate someone who hates those things I enjoy (from housework, to kinky sex), because I can feel them, and if they're hating it, the energy doesn't work for me, and I can't much enjoy it... Though that doesn't necessarily stop me. M

Perhaps it is because of people like me.

Some would/could/have come to me with their whining and moaning and gotten a very UNempathetic cold shoulder. I've been called a cold, heartless bitch many many times. Usually behind my back but that is a different story.

Yet, there are others in my life that would say I am a very warm caring person. That I've been there for them during very difficult times in their lives.

I can be very empathetic or empathic. I often need to throw up filters so that I don't feel the pain of others all the time. However, as a sadomasochist I enjoy the pain of others who want to feel pain.

empathic is my middle name. does that qualify for super empathic?
empathy is what makes me so good at my job, however it is best to have a detached empathy as a nurse.

I have found that if the emotions of another individual are strong enough, that the emotions and the cause of those emotions can enable someone sensitive enough to read someone like a book. Also with practice an individual can learn to project their emotions into others. Some do this naturally, their emotions are contagious. Some can do this by the inflections within their voice, by touch or even by their mere presence in a room.
Do I consider my self empathic? yes.
Do I believe that I can tell how someone is feeling by analysis of the their choice of vocabulary within a given statement or post within a forum or private chat? yes.
Do I believe I can tell what the person is felling by looking at their image within a photography? yes.
Can I sit in an auditorium or in the audience at a symphony, opera or concert and feel the music, instead of listening to the music? yes.
Do I consider this gift, ability to be super? no.
We all have it. It is instinctive. For some it is learned. Some are just born with it.
Some people just ignore it and they forget they have it.
Some learn to use it to manipulate the reactions of others.
Some use it to gain insight into the motivations of others.

It is an instinctive ability that a great many people have forgotten over the years.
