I find that the scenes are much more real for me than I expected them to be. Most of the crew seem really focused on making sure the talent has a good time and they've been doing this long enough that they know how to get the shot without being obtrusive. Of course I am always aware that the experience is being filmed and do everything I can to make it easier on the people filming while still trying to give them a real experience to shoot. I would compare it to a scene with a new, casual play partner. It can be fun, and in some ways very intense as you try new things and experience a new person's energy but you're both also making sure to be aware of what's going on with your partner and with your surroundings. It will never be the same intimate experience I have with Master but they've been intense fun scenes that push me physically more than even he has yet.
I don't often think about the exhibitionist aspect while in the shoot. I try to be very focused on the present and the person/people I am interacting with.
