BBWGoddess07 -> BDSM Holidays (12/26/2008 8:22:49 AM)

I have been thinking of introducing Holiday weekends/weeks at my property in France.  Luxury accommodation with use of dungeon etc.

Please let me know what you think.  Is there a call for it?

I look forward to hearing from you.

I've always liked the idea of a BDSM weekend or vacation get away. I wonder how long I could stay encased in latex????

There is ALWAYS a place for Clandestine Kink and such the problem is that when you open your doors to such things you also open your home to disrespect. I do not know what the laws conserning BDSM is in France but here things that happn inside a home effect everyone with in the home all illegal activity is blanketed over everyone and left for the legal system to sort it all out.

The Other Problem is that alot of the time when we think of Kink Trysts we usually only see our own kinks. Are you going to be Comfortable having things happen that are not your kinks?

Blood Letting,
Non-Consentual Sceneing or Role Play in which even you don't know if it's real?
Golden Showers
Roman Showers
Scat Play
Things that Violate TOS to even Mention here.

I bring this up because very offten people who wish to engage in these things look for "No Question's Asked KINK Positive Play Places" The fact that yours is in France makes it a Vacation Spot and Would Most likely be profitable depending on why in France but again the issue remains what exactly is okay and what is not. I do know that there was a Cabin In Montant that used to be a "Kink Vacation Place" Things out out of control the owner started setting rules and asking the nature of the exact play that will be had and with in a year the closed down, because people want to do what they want and not answer to anyone.

If you go for it I would MAKE SURE you were Legal in EVERY WAY, Again I don't know what the legal system is like in France but if there are liscenes make sure you have them and always donate to the local Police.

As Always

When I lived in Japan, there was a BDSM hotel in Tokyo.  It was typical of the Japanese "love hotels", in that it would rent either in two hours blocks or all night, but it was atypical in that each room was fully equipped (old English dungeon, Chinese torture, medical play, etc.).  It was busy all the time!

I think you need to set the limits of what is acceptable, but you should have plenty of takers.

Sounds like a great idea.  I'm just wondering about legal liability for anything that happens.

I think it's a great idea. House of Differences was set up with theme rooms as well as access to the dungeon (which was much too small but better than nothing!) You could bring your own toys, use their equipment or even borrow toys from the cage. The main rule of the house was don't feed the dog! Miss E used to set out replenishing snakes.. fruits and such in the upstairs lounge and the atmosphere was generally low key and respectful with those resting in the lounge area speaking quietly etc. HOD was my favorite place to visit when I lived in the SF area of CA and to have something similar again would be wonderful.

One of the things at HOD that Miss E did was establish memberships for a yearly fee so that people could come stay in a room, use the dungeon etc for a steep discount. For those that played a lot or stayed overnight to take advantage of the theme rooms, it meant substantial savings. For those who were only a one shot or rare, you could make a reservation and pay a premium to go just for the night. Lots of ways to work it, just make sure to dot your I's and cross your T's with the legal stuff and expect guests! HOD was almost always booked to capacity.
