Domina the Frugal Domme specializes in canes and carries a large variety of natural and synthetic models for very reasonable prices.

I enjoy the marks and sounds and weight of a cane.  One of my boys is a cane slut and loves having his bottom marked.

Sadly, no.  I'd buy another as I've just about worn this one out.  Two of the canes have broken at the handle and a couple others have 'frayed' at the tips.  But they have seen some hard use!  I got it from a vendor at Frolicon last Easter.  I Hope he returns as I need a replacement and want to get his Email addy.

Well, this year we had a great harvest of peaches and pears to can.

The crabapple jelly was so good, we're going to enter it in the State F.......

I'm sorry............it's about what?

Ohhhhhhh...........nevermind.

Hello all!

I am getting ready to purchase my first cane. I have used them before but am wondering what everyone's opinion is on the subject. Do you enjoy it, what about it do you enjoy?

Y'know those long clear plastic shafts that you use to turn blinds closed or open? Tke those babies off their hooks and you have a very effective cane...and not a dime spent.

best part of all is you can put them back on the windows when your done. Ah, the world of hidden BDSM!

TexasMaam -> RE: Caning (12/29/2008 5:06:24 PM)

now HERE's a grrreat idea! Thanx, Isaac!

Actually, it was mentioned earlier in the thread, along with a warning to only use the round ones because the square ones can cut if you're not careful.

Thank you Delilah for posting the suggestion to search for the Conrad Hodson article. Here's the link.
Wow it's just crammed with fantastic advice--a must for any cane novice--but also worthwhile for any newer domme, even if she doesn't want to try the cane.  I know I'll be reading it over and over as I got a great new handmade cane for Christmas. One of my favorite crops is much more "cane" than crop in design. I hestitated to use it. Now I feel more confident in how to practice with it.

I love my bundled rattan canes!

http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii172/MsStarlett/Toys/BundledCanes.jpg

There is just nothing like the sound they make when I wave them in the air.  They cut the air with that lovely 'swishing' noise.  My boys tremble in anticipation when they hear that.  It leaves such beautiful welts on their backs and buttocks that send me into ecstasy when I run my fingers across them.  Just like an old fashioned rub board.  So divine.

OOOOO that looks absolutely delectable *skitters off to find her boy* It inspires me to do things.....
