Hi ladies, I'm in a LTR (22 years!) and all is awesome. My owner and I are getting more and more into public play in dungeons or with other couples. But the thing is with me is that I'm a real wiggler. When tied to a cross and getting flogged I just love to sway to the music or even push my little rear end up and around. It's like I'm communicating to my Mistress somehow by moving around. It is much like a cat that jacks his rear up when you stroke them. I seem to move around to express the different sensations I'm getting. Most important, Mistress says she loves this about me and that I'm much more fun to play with than the typical scenareo of a guy just hanging limp from his restraints and just quietly taking it all in. Some have said that I can't be getting into sub space all the way if I move around. But I feel so good and high that I'm very happy to be in whatever head space it is that I go into almost instantly. I'm into Yoga and with that comes moving, stretching, getting the juices flowing and being very aware of all sensations. In some ways I wonder if being so aware of your bodys center and even tiny sensations if that is a bit of a negative habit when indulging in dugeon play So I guess the real question to you all is: If we are in a large dungeon scene like at Beyond Leather with lots of eyes watching, do I look, and god forbid make my Mistress look strange if I wiggle around a bit? Are there other Mistress's that like it when a sub is a wiggler or is it bad, or strange behaviour? Thanks for your input :-)

Thanks for your input :-) Its probably safe to say that there is no prescribed fashion in which one is to respond to sensations or revel in them. Conversely, subspace isnt locateable on a 'you are here' kind of map so who really is to say when/how each person achieves it? I get reaction with whatever is in my hand at the time ...or even just from the touch of my hand. Am I fussy about what that reaction resembles? No. Am I pleased that I am getting one? Lord, yes. Reaction makes it fun - it energizes me !

What a pleasure it is to respond to something like this for My 5,000th post! Is it strange? It may not be the way a lot of bottoms respond, but they really don't matter, do they? What matters is if you and your Mistress are enjoying the scene, if she is reading you properly, and if you are responding in the way the play dictates. In other words, if it's right for you, and you're not breaking the dungeon rules is some way, nobody observing your scene should have any say as to whether it's "normal" or not. The scene isn't for them. It's for the Mistress and you.

Thanks for your input :-) --[sm=hello.gif] I've been to Beyond Leather before and there's a large dark dungeon with lots going on and everybody is doing their own thing. That's what matters...you and your Mistress doing your own thing and doing what is right and natural to you. If wiggling alot is natural to you and I believe it is then by all means do it and have fun. I seen some of your wiggling and I think it's very enjoyable to watch and I'm sure your Mistress does too. (a stiff body with no reaction is boring). Anyway I would recommend that you not worry about what others may think and just focus on your Mistress and being in the moment. If your Mistress doesn't want you to do something or behave a certain way then I'm sure she'll definitely tell you. So just relax and enjoy your time together. And I'll see you at Beyond Leather.

I'm a wiggler too... and when I hit subspace I am not at all in control of it. Sir says he likes to make me wiggly!

That would not look strange to me. I expect people to move around when they are playing. Are there other Mistress's that like it when a sub is a wiggler or is it bad, or strange behaviour? I am sure there are Mistress's who like people to move and others who want you to stay still. Just depends on the individual. In your case you have already said you Mistress likes it, so it really shouldn't matter what others like. She is the one you want to please and it sounds like she is very happy with things the way they are. Thanks for your input :-) For me personally, I move around a bit. In fact I have been know to crawl up crosses on a good day.

She may find it "cute", I do not. I expect the normal amount of movement based on the activity--but showmanship is a definite no no in My book. <edited for tense typo>

If someone at the dungeon doesn't like wigglers, they can go watch someone else. As long as your wiggling isn't accompanied by frequent eardrum-splitting shrieks, I don't know why anyone would care.

God, I hate that.. we had a cat lady at our local dungeon ..drove me insane..completely ruined my Top space..every time they played her she howled and meowed and carried on caterwauling like it was no ones busines.. MEOW.. MEOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW... MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWMAAASSSSSSSSSTEREEMEOW... I stopped playing the boy when she was in the dungeon was just no point for me... As for wiggling I prefer that over limp ... limp I only like during after care means Ive done my job right... SD

In public venues, those who watch want to see that those who are playing are having fun. Sounds like you look like you are having fun so you've accomplished the goal. (Note: I can't figure out how to change my signature... advice on where I need to look to edit that? I looked under profile but didn't see a signature button...)

I personally don't move, but that is because my Mistress has asked that I give her a challenge. I have been doing martial arts for past 8 years. I am to block out pain to a certain degree, and it is this that gives my Mistress the pleasure and challenge she asks for. During play, she tried to inflict pain, I just stay there and I just completely ignore by showing no emotions or engaging in conversation completely irrelevant to the scene.

Personally, I'm a very wiggly-squirmy kinda guy when doing almost any kind of play. I'm just very kinetic, and Mistress very much enjoys it...'specially when I perk my ass up or tilt my neck for her ease of access. As she says, "I don't like playing with a dead man." As long as it comes naturally, other people will enjoy watching it.

Life is so short . When you're enjoying something fully - share the joy ! Wigglers, moaners , those that jerk with each stroke , others that cry out , or visibly flinch - it's all good ! Feedback is often what stimulates a delicious response from the Dom/me . Wiggle away ! Fully immerse , and don't worry what anyone thinks !

I personally would be to busy focusing on Daddy and what we're doing to care what some other person over there was doing. My Sir loves verbal responses to his "work". Therefore, i react verbally to what he is doing. thank god i don't wail like a cat! but the other subs in my area have had to reassure others that i am not red-ing when i yell -and that if i really wanted to get away, i could. My Sir plays rough, and sometimes it shows in how i react. the point is we all react differently to what is going on - and if it is normal for you, and your dom/me likes it, then more power to you and yours.

Hello A/all, This has been illuminating for me personally. I have always tried to hang tough during beatings. I am realtively new to the more intense things like caning and whipping. I have always thought that it was better to show everybody present that my mistress had a "tough" slave. I wanted her to be proud of me.... Oh well! Sincerely, Mike SnowRanger
