I wasn't intending to add 3 posts in a row, but I originally wanted to respond (read that any way you want) to wipme's comment:

Status: offline 		Violet wands are fun! :) Finding and trying attachments is great, as is using a body contact probe to electrify me for mylar whips, finger tips, and even knife play. You often can even do temporary welts using an electrified knife, and raise patterns. Use the body contact probe on the shoulder/neck and you can safely do electric tongue and cunnilingus. The bigest limitation is your own imagination.

The advice I give is to buy a good one and be sure it has a ceramic core -- do NOT get a wax one as they will melt down during play, ruining the wand and your fun. If at all possible, get it with a real on/off switch, and try it before buying.

Also, do not do as a Dom down in the SE did. Despite having attending several workshops and classes, he somehow got the idea that you stuck the body contact probe in your pocket. He did so, and then was very upset when he got massive intermitent shocks because it was then acting as a capacitor, building up and discharging into a very sensitive area. Still makes me laugh (and shake my head) to this day...

I knew what one was the first time I saw one because in the FACIAL ESTHETICS business, Tesla current identical to VW is used on the face with a mushroom electrode. In constant contact with moisturizer used as glide, it oxygenates and ozonates the skin. If you have a zit or blemish, the facialist breaks contact over the zit, zapping it. That kills all the bacteria in it and it is going away by the next day.

Alternative MDs sometimes use a strange version of it. My ex (alt MD) had a unit where you hold a huge glass globe in your hands with your feet contacting a large copper plate. Same Tesla current.

Rake attachment thru the hair is HEAVEN and "chillsville". It also deodorizes hair.
