Thanks all for your well wishes. Some of you asked how I feel different. I think it was that he was willing to make the committment to me and place his trust in me and also that he recognized that I was ready to do the same. I have been married twice before and so obviously it is not something that is necessarily permanent in my mind. Collaring seems to carry more weight privately between us than the public aknowledgement of marriage would. Also that I have given myself to another voluntarily makes me feel somehow more responsible. I have a new life now with a perspective that I have never had before.
I dont know if this answered the questions but it is the best I can do at the moment.
