nope, quite a mild, slightly damp day here in the North East of England. Not that I mind - being pulled along by two dogs as I walk to my parents' house for the day could be disastrous with snow on the ground!

Hartford had snow left over from the prior weekend...so we had a grey Christmas...sometimes yellow...but today and tomorrow i think all the accumulation will melt...i dont know how i feel about that. New England is pretty when blanketed with snow, and i notice the other occupants that seem to think they live here too more when im not distracted by nature's beauty. Kinksters excluded from this rant...those i could see all the live long day. Sometimes i go to WalMart and try to suss them out from the crowd...i drop things and then bend over seductively to pick them up...so far, no one has spanked me.....[8\|]

White here....yesterday we had a wonderful day it got to 45 with the sun out. Now you can actually drive on our street without worrying about going into the gully..sliding on the ice that is. The yard is somewhat clearing its wonderful.

We had a white ground and a few flakes in the air, even. Now we have torrents of rain washing over 90% of it away [I walked to work in the downpour]. Pity, it was pretty; but on the plus side I might be able to take my um to the park.

the white Christmas we were socked with just melted and flooded my place a little. it's now 59 degrees and expecting temps near 65! tomorrow back to more seasonal temps frowns

IN TO it was white but rained and melted the last of the ice away, today its melting fast.

Our first snow fall of the new season was back in October and we have had snow on the ground since November. It was too cold this past week to snow on Christmas but it was a white Christmas. It is only the third white Christmas that I have had. All the rest have been green. An amusing story, when I told the little ones that my Christmas' while growing up were all green, they could not understand. They said, "You mean brown, right?" They couldn't wrap their mind around the fact that grass and plants could be growing and green during winter. g We also had the pleasure of seeing moose walking along the hills over our house. During the summer we saw a black bear and her three cubs in the hills and then yesterday there were two moose in the same area. I love living here. It is not unusual to have to wait to get in your driveway while the deer clear out of it. Knight's Kyra

It was sunny and 80 F here. A lovely Christmas. Not a flake of snow to be seen ( Thank God!) Gwyn

Had a little snow here recently, but no white Christmas. I'm glad because snow turns to nasty slush. Yuck!
