1. To find the 3rd for our home that both Master and I desire
2. To re-quit smoking ( I fell off the wagon when November washed over me with depression and grief)
3. To cook enough food for all who attend Greedy's and Pirates wedding goes away fat happy
4. To get through my classes with a 3.0 average minimum
5. To get my dayum diabetes under control before I lose my sight completely to diabetic retinopathy
6. Most importantly to keep making my Master happy and improving his comfort.

Thanks Poen!

I've decided I've changed and it's time to make a change.

I'm going to volunteer more. I'm going to help those that I can help in anyway that I can. I'm going to better my life and make a difference. I'm going to do something that matters. :)

Darling! Just get a new corset, problem solved!

Helpful Hib

The corset I've got...it's what's peeking out from underneath it that's the problem!  I guess it's not really my waist that needs slimming, it's the tummy.  And the bum.  And the thighs.  Oy.

Actually, I took the first steps to two of my resolutions.

1) lose weight and get back into the same physical shape I was in 10 years ago.
Tools to accomplish this:
     A) Get off a medication that is known to cause weight
gain. (done did done it already, as of the 23rd,
with an immediate 10 pound loss, probably water
         since my ankles aint swollen.
     B) Work with physical therapist on low impact weight
workouts that are set to tone, not build muscle.

2) Stop smoking.  (bronchitis helped, I am down to 6 cigarettes a day, and I have the bronchitis kicked and beaten into submission, funny how much the taste of things have changed)

3) Stop being the defender of the underdog, when underdog is WRONG.

Let me be first to start this perennial thread...

My resolutions:

- to give myself the body I desire and deserve by focussing on healthier eating and more exercise.
- to find the job that gives me the opportunity to have a life outside of work

What about you lot - any resolutions?

Snap to the first one!
Given up on the second lol don't think such a job exists at the moment.

It took me awhile but I finally figured out what my NY resolution would be. There are programs all over the U.S. similar to this Cage Comforter program in NYC.

I have a sewing room FULL of fabric remnants and cage comforters make up rather quickly. I know what I'm going to do with them :)

Nah.  I don't do New Year's resolutions.  I have goals always, but they are the same regardless of what season it is, so I don't see any useful point in restating them or coming up with new ones just because it's tradition to do so at the beginning of the year.
