Crackerjacks are too sugary-sweet for me.  You can find microwave kettlecorn with the other popcorn products.

you can get kinder surprises here, at least in Los Angeles, just go to a more "international" food market and they have them.  in case anyone was looking

oh yeah, and I sent some corn tortillas to a friend in Germany once, don't know if those are a hot commodity in Canada.
I could find corn tortillas at the Viktualeinmarkt in Munich but they were bloody expensive and not very good.

things i love to get from New Zealand
Edmunds custard power  -  love hot runny custard, alone or with bananas or peaches
Cadburys milk chocolate with crunchie pieces
chocolate fish - marshmellow covered in chocolate in the shape of (what else!) a fish
  Minties
Milo - my favourite hot drink when it is cold outside
Leg of lamb with mint sauce and gravy (actually i get NZ lamb at Sams)
Passionfruit ice cream -  i have to go to NZ to get this - mail isn't quite fast enough
Tamarillos - have found them once or twice in Krogers (local grocery)
  Passionfruit - ditto

Passionfruit in Spanish is grenadilla. You can find the frozen pulp (usually by Goya) in Mexican/Latin American stores.

I'll take a box of Cracker Jacks as long as it comes with the toy. I use to love that stuff. The only problem is that it took a minuet to eat a box and the rest of the day taking little bits and pieces out of my teeth.

Anyways, I'm surprised no one as yet to mention Snicker Noodles. And before I forget, chocolate milk duds known as Whoppers!

So has anyone said cookies? Chocolate Chip, Oreos, etc.... I perfer home made myself or something from the Great American Cookie Factory.

Right now, I'm carving Krispy Cream and Duncan.

Ohhhhhhhhh

FangsNfeet ....... CANDY Fail!!!!

Milk Duds and Whoppers are TWO VERY DIFFERENT CANDIES. Milk Duds are Chocolate Covered Caramels and Whoppes are Chocolate Covered Malted Milk Puffs that resemble (That means LOOKS LIKE)  KIK'S Cereal when not covered in chocolate.

Thanks for Playing.

Now I need to go buy some Whoppers. Now Available in Strewberry and Recess Peanut Butter Cup Flavor

You are all going to DIE ! All this sugar and crap.

You want a real snack you want nuts, they are almost like nature's vitamin pills. Strangely though, I have found in the limited info I can find, that it is not really the expensive nuts that are better for you. For example Brazilnuts are more nutritious than Macadamians.

I know many don't consider a salad to be a snack, but I sort of do. I have broken the lettuce habit. A snack could be sliced cukes in wine vinegar. Sometimes I embellish it with green peppers, celery, grated carrots, sour cream and some seasalt. That makes for an interesting orange looking "dressing" that you won't find in stores.

OK I am wierd, I have refused sugar for a long time, and don't do chips. Closest I'll come is pork rinds but even that is rare. It's all either mostly sugar or mostly carbs, from chips to candies, from cakes to cookies. I guess if you don't eat enough to kill you, it's alright. But it is very easy to overdo.

Blue Bell Ice Cream

Big competitor with my favorite brand of ice cream, Yarnell's.  Of course, I am an Arkie.

I just find Yarnell's better to Blue Bell.  I love, love, LOVE Yarnell's Butter Pecan.  Now I really love homemade ice cream.  I remember a friend of mine's parents from childhood making blackberry ice cream that was out of this world.

Using fast reply..........

Okay people!! Chocolate is NOT A SNACK! It is the 5th, and MOST IMPORTANT food group. Which of course includes ice cream, as the only good ice cream worth eating must contain some chocolate (preferably ALOT, with some added chocolate sauce)

Sheesh!
