Why are you here? What labels do you place on yourself? What do they mean to you? What do they fulfill in you?
Once you have the answers to those questions, you may begin to better understand and accept others.
I have no label personally only those terms /labels others place on me in order to convey ie i love to be a bottom/Top so others will say "ah so your a 'Switch'i personally do not myself find my identity in the 'label'(as many have said many times on this board 'labels' tend to cause confusion because what the 'meaning of a label is to one may not mean to another this is also my 'understanding' and i also accept others and this works both ways. my understanding of the term daddy is differnt to others and reading some post i beg to differ to their understanding.
My girl calls me Daddy because that feels good for us. She's younger than I am, submissive, loves affection, possessiveness, and being kept safe by her male authority figure. Both her and I had normal healthy relationships with both our parents.
Thanks for posting the question. It is one area that i have difficulty personally with. I do not know why or what makes a person call another Daddy. When I was young, my neighbor's mother called her husband Daddy, yes they were 'vanilla'. It always sounded odd to me.
Personally i dont seek a relationship to fill a void but to compliment me as a human. oceanwynds
I called my ex Mistress daddi because calling her mommy kinda creeped me out. Daddi just kinda fit. I just watched Paper Moon the other day and noticed that Trixie kept calling Moses "Daddy" all the time. I also noticed in a Andy Hardy movie, the judge called his wife "Mother"
