It's true that munches in Reno are elusive... The main munch group can be found on this Yahoo group. It takes quite a while to pass their application process, since some of the members are concerned about their privacy. They meet every second Saturday of the month. They had their January meeting yesterday - I only wish I'd found your message earlier... Like I said, the application process is a long one (took me two months...), but there's a way around it - you could come to the munch with one of the regular members. If you wish, I could vouch for you and get you the instant membership.
A few years ago, there was a bit of a conflict in the munch group, and some of them split off to form a second group entitled PowerMunch. :) They aren't as concerned about privacy and post their meeting time and place on craigslist (last time I checked, they still didn't have their own site). If I remember correctly, they meet for dinner on the last Monday of each month - this month it'll be on the 26th.
Both munches are held in local restaurants. Message me if you'd like to know more or have any questions. :^D
