Tonight I sat with My sub for a while.  Just a quiet moment between the two of us.  My boy laid his head in My lap.  I looked in his eyes and saw that special thing.

I don't know where it came from, but out of the blue, there it was.  Before I knew what I was doing, from My lips came......

"You are collared to Me for life."

Take it as you will.  Share those moments.  When you just knew.  Where you looked into the eyes, and all was right.

I never even accept a collar unless I am in it for the long haul though...to me it is a deep commitment on the same level as marriage.I was with my MasterDaddy till he passed away and plan to be with  my Daddy for life too.

It's a romantic gesture....sounds nice. I guess I'm too realistic though and know nothing is for life.

Master did the same.  The very moment He put it around my neck we intended that it be forever.  I can't imagine it any other way...............luci

well... I am not a romantic person in my eyes!  I also look at posts like yours as rather romantic and hardly something I can relate to in anyway.   I can't put to a specific moment when I just knew she is mine.  It didn't come like lightening bolt in an intense emotional touching moment.  In fact, it was more like looking behind me and seeing that she (Alandra and Kyra) are mine and I have been relating with them that way for as far back as I can see.  I don't see a moment that sticks out or I see a building of moments that brought us to where we are.. and each stone was set down and built this mountain of ours.  I know they are mine and I know somewhere in our past it became a mountain... I am just not sure when.. and honestly.. I don't care... I just know that it IS and that is what I care about!

He says he knew I was the right one at the first meeting. He just gave me enough rope to tie myself firmly up for him.

AWWW I just love these stories!!!  Thanks for sharing the warm fuzzies. 

I knew he was the one after meeting up with him again after not seeing each other for 12 years.  His realization came a bit later, only about 2 years later but it's all good.  We grew in so many ways in the interim, it wouldn't have worked had we tried to forge a relationship earlier.  Mmmm, now I am off to cuddle his sweater and think more warm and fuzzy thoughts.

After last night, found out what was supposed to be LTR with the couple, was not what was agreed. What was agreed was that I would remain until mistress retires. I still had 4 years to go, but since master is becoming more mean as he gets older, mistress has opted for early retirement.
I wanted it to be for life with mistress and it might have been without master in the picture, but now I realize in agreement with you, littlewonder, nothing is for life.
There are always external influences that can affect the continued relationship with a dominant.
Such a realization is depressing.

That sounds like a wonderful moment.

When I get collared in the near future ( we ordered the collar this week.), as far as I am concerned it is forever. I wouldn't do it otherwise. Although MasterK says "you've really been my slave from the beginning" and I think he's right, it just took me longer to realize it.

I plan to be collared and married to my Owner for life.  It won't always be glamorous, I'm sure, and we will have our rough patches...but I do know there's nobody else I'd want to spend the rest of my life with.  Forever does exist.
