At a neighbor's house for their annual party - kids all come and run around like nuts; adults drink to compensate for the noise. And best yet, there's no driving involved. :)

our plan is to stop by the local little bar He likes and have a couple drinks. either we'll still be there partying at midnight and kiss in the New Year, or we'll be home toasting the New Year and then, as said so well by Bounty ~~ screw like mad rabbits and drop off to sleepy time.. I'll be at a small private party with close friends, as I have for years. We're a slow bunch these days, but there will be plenty of food to keep us going!

I was at a friend's brothers place, which has a nice view of Sydney Harbour Bridge so we got to see the fireworks. Just a nice little group of friends getting together to ring, or in our case shout, hoot and yell, the new year in. Much fun was had by all and several heads got shaved.

This year I am staying home with my kids.....they have both had a hard year, and my sons friend that he normally spends New Years is not around.....so I decided to skip the annual Poker Party and gonna play Wii with my kids [:D] Last night my friends had an early party, so I could go.....so I had my poker fill last night (until 4am) hahaha Happy New Year everyone! May you all have a great night and much to look forward to in 2009!

With my in laws, my husband, and his brother (whom I adore) and playing "Arkham Horror", a board game based off of Lovecraft's Cthulu mythology. At midnight, we are going to fight the big monster in order to ring in the new year properly - after all, what's a good New Year without some leviathan like creature intend on eating the world and everyone in it? Yeah. We're nerds. [8D]

The last two years, I was asleep. For this year, I'm not sure yet. I've been invited to a couple of parties. I may go, and I may just stay at home and have a few drinks and go to bed. It just depends on my mood this evening.

My place of employment takes requests for nights off according to seniority, not in the order received. So I'll be at work tonight. Tomorrow will be fun though. I'm going to an all day New Years family event with my Sir.

I usually stay in on New Year's Eve, too many drunks out there like BOUNTY said! I'll watch t.v. and go out on the front porch at midnight and listen to all the fireworks and gunfire in the area. Lots of gunfire around here!
