Oh My God My Profile is the Best Profile there ever way. I mean Nigerian Super Models write me all the time asking if I can help them come to me and be my sex slave. I also get Men asking if I would Dom them and fuck their silly asses. I mean I am Hetrosexual and my Profile even says so but the Profile is SOOOOOO GOOD that they feel they have to ask. We have a Couples Profile and even though andi is labled as my slave Doms from all over the world write us and ask if they could "Dominant" them. Oh and how can I forget, Our Profile is so good it makes Men want to take pictures of thier Genetalia and Post it in the messages they send us with single words of Single Sentenses that say "Nice, you like?' I mean if that doesn't make our profile something you should just copy and past over I don't know how else you will become as popular as we are on the Cyber Highway.

Seriously, It's a Profile. If it isn't YOU then it is a Lie. If you cannot figure out HOW to present yourself on a Site such as then then what are going to do when you actually go to meet someone? Seriously just look around at profiles until you see a format that best suits your style or do what I do and just Freehand what you are and what you are looking for. Post a Few Pictures and Start a Journal that you can add things that aren't as important as your core Values.

Because what works for Me will not work for you because we are looking for VERY different things and I am a Very Different Kinda Guy.

Hello Kipper!

I perved your profile.  It's an ok profile, but for me, it promotes your issues (shyness, overthinking) more than what you have to offer(ability to learn, enjoying reading).   Why not list a favourite group or author?  Something that someone can relate to so you can have a conversation.

Personally, I like your profile name.  It's kind of cute - reminds me of the childrens book charachter, but independant too, like the charachter is.  It also reminds me of music.  No offense to SteveandJaz, but it's all in the perspective.  Stick with your name if you are happy with it and identify with it.  Maybe add something into your profile on why you have that name?  Maybe it's a favourite food - who knows!

I like the photograph.  Only thing I would suggest is that you add at least a couple of others.

Hello.  Long time lurker, 2nd time poster :)

I'm in the seemingly unique position of having been curious about Ds for a very long time, how that came to pass I don't know, but at first - I didn't know what it was, then I found sites like this, eventually plucked up the courage to display a profile, then add photos, and so on.

Anyway, i've spent quite a lot of time getting to this level - put yourself on display like this is not something that comes naturally to everyone, well me anyway.  But I realise that I probably know as much as I am going to know about Ds (and myself) just by visiting sites and reading about it.

I'm not your pro-domme using sort of person, in fact I don't think i'd dream of it - My view of activities like this is that they are intimate, personal, and to be shared with someone I have come to know and trust - perhaps more trust than I have placed in anyone.  So i've arrived at the conclusion that I must look for someone who, like me, shares this interest (from their own viewpoint) and is looking for similar things to me.  I'm also not really comfortable with the idea of popping along to a local munch where (just by my mere presence) - i will be in the same room as people who know something about me that I don't particularly want in the public domain either (Irrational? probably...)

So, given all this background and information... Its down to looking online for that special someone, so what sort of profile and pictures do people like to see?  What sort of mails do people like to receive (it can be hard not to write a one liner when some people only include one line in their entire profile... how can you bounce off that?).

Just looking for some insight :)  I want to put myself on display, without nescessarily putting myself on display... if that makes sense, I am slow, steady, cautious type... but worth getting to know in the end I hope!

i've had a profile as a free woman and the profile i have now is a negotiated one between myself and my Master. i say negotiated because as a professional photographer he took the main and one of the subsequent pictures. What i say about myself inclide words He asked me to write. As Prinsexx my profile was somewhat different but my interests remain thesame. Obviously i still get some mail from Doms but most Doms naturally dropped away once i became owned property.
My philosophy is: if you have it flaunt it....how you gonna get what you want if you don't flaunt what you got?
On the other hand there are of course those who aren't who they say they are, don't even have the gender they say they have....who knows all sorts of weirdos exist on the internet as in off the internet. But once mailing and even chat is established i simply would advise speaking by phone and meeting as soon as possible. I have precious precious friends that i have both met and not met (mainly because of long distance). Long distance friends, especially from the States, support me wonderfully, and inform me in a way which enriches my life because of cultural differences.
i've had a profile on alt and informed consent but Master and i me here and i feel this is closer to being a spiritual home than other sites because of the forums and because of the fairly general culture of respect and response.
Main advice: stop lurking, start living. Welcome to collarme and i wish you all the best in your search.

I can tell you are trying to sound smart because what you said made no sense.

To the OP, i havent read your profile, I have been complimented on mine before many times i basically find the best thing to do is be yourself, dont write a list of stuff about you or what you want normally the thing that you want will come just by the expression of yourself. Write like you are just talking to the computer. Talk about whatever comes to your mind, then the day after re read it edit it, it will take a while before you get one you like.

I had the best profile and photos when I actually had a profile and photos.
I believe mine said something to the effect of Blah Blah Blah... it snagged those dominant menfolk in like you wouldn't believe.  You are more than welcome to use my words...

or you don't get it

people might find a profile good...because they are looking for what is in that particular profile.
and they might find it bad when they are not looking for it.'

in other words....what ever you do..some like it..some won't

That JD was far better expressed (and not actually what your initial sentence meant) Sorry but I really hate people who think that making what they say a riddle means that they are clever. Normally they are the least clever kinds of people.

I agree to an extent but the guy lives in the UK and is looking for a UK Mistress. Most people in the UK know about the name Kipper and what it implies over here and thats why I mentioned it.

I know..it wasn't meant like that. I couldn't find better english words..and found it sound overly smart (in a bad way).
That was I noted the remark below it (including the "lol")...else I wouldn't have even have bothered to note it down ofcourse.
Sometimes I try to make fun in english..guess I should leave that...grin

I understand what you are saying, I am in the UK also.  It just so happens that Kipper made me think of the cute pup or a music company or a smelly fish.   - over a murderer.  Like I said, it's just perspective and how someones mind works.  I know how that sounds, I don't mean that to sound like you only think of killers... I mean, after all I live with one of the biggest serial killer and horror officiandos around.

I've been thinking about revamping my profile and had thought to try and incorperate some of what I'd seen in yours. It's a good profile! Besides, the picture of my husband has a dirty dish plate in it (didn't even realize that until I read the other thread about the photos!). We're kinky, but not THAT kinky. I'd better find another picture!

Thanks!  See what I said earlier about using info sets.  Hopefully, that will help get your creative juices flowing.  If you have pictures of you and your hubby together (wedding photo?), you might try to include at least one.

That's a good idea, Sylver, thank you! I think I will need to get another picture of the two of us (I've lost some weight between the wedding and now - was 152, down to 139) together, but for some reason, the idea of one picture (at least our main one!) with both of us hadn't occured to me until you mentioned it!

And yeah, I really did like how your profile was set up, here shortly I'm going to take a shot at mixing mine up a little using yours as an inspiration! (Mine is okay, but sort of blah at the moment)
