Mostly to do with a four post bed but it could be supported from the ceiling.

Two posts at the head of the bed are tight against the frame, held in place with pins but can be adjusted by sliding down the length towards the foot of the bed. I would think it would be best if it were part of a mechanical assembly since a chain could move the posts more evenly and fluidly.
Two posts at the foot of the bed are set out a little bit from the frame with the same purpose as the head posts.
By cranking the chain runners the posts could be brought together while the sub/slave is suspended quarterly by the posts.
It would enable the dominant to adjust the sub/slave to be face down or face up on a horizontal plane or any degree to a vertical above the bed, by having the shackles and manacles attached to the posts and can be cranked to different heights.
Damn I need a workshop.
Tracks could be installed on the ceiling across the floor joists or ceiling joists. Suspending sub/slave above the floor instead of having the apparatus as part of the bed.

For your project, you’d also need to reinforce the ceiling, or if you are on the lower floor of a multi-story structure, somehow attach the ceiling frame to the floor joists overhead.  Alternately you might consider using a design similar to a garage hoist, where a set of center pillars with a jack system set into them lift a table upon which the car sits. In your case, the table would hold the bed frame of course, but it would allow you to elevate your subject to nearly any level of the room, but without the stress on their limbs, which of course has its advantages, and disadvantages.

Too heavy.
I would think the chain similar to be found on a motorcycle would be more than suitable or the chain similar to what is found on an automatic garage door opener.
Of course if the post hanging from the ceiling is used a gear that was free moving, attached to a ball at the top of the post would allow the gear to move while the post remained so that it actually just hung down vertical.
The method of hanging the posts from the ceiling by rail system would also allow for the ease of concealment.
