Greetings!

Months and months ago, I remember reading about a specific type of slave collar. I do not even know if it was on this site that I read about it. I have tried googling it with many different combinations of words, and still cannot find it.

The collar is a plain circular metal collar, similar in looks to this picture...

But it closes seamlessly with the use of a hex wrench to lock it. It can only be unlocked using the said hex wrench. The lock is built into the circular part of the collar itself, and there are no visible locks (pad locks, etc).

Does anyone know where I can find this again?

Thank you for sharing your opinions on the collar. I remember making a mental note about them when I first saw them, and I bookmarked the page...but my computer I had at that point died, and my bookmarks could not be retrieved.

I liked the collar for a few reasons. It is one that either a male or a female could wear. It's not too over the top, so it can be worn in public and to work and the slave would not have to explain their interest in BDSM because of it. I like the tamper resistant lock. And I like the fact that with the way it locks, it will not get cought in hair, on shirts, rub skin the wrong way, etc.

Its called a Turian collar and comes from the Gorean life style, mentioned in the books of Gor. I f you google Turian collar, you will find heaps of links.

i managed to find them on ebay under gorean collar, got a good deal on them as i am in the uk and they were made in the states

These are 5/16" thick, which is a lot more subtle than the more common 3/8".

Some of these actually close with a key, so you don't have to worry about the wearer digging through the toolbox to find another key :p You can also get them with the option where they don't come off again... ever [sm=whoa.gif]

It is always good to have a choice and the buyer should always comparison shop. I have recommended Axmar to people quite a few times when one of mine was not what they were looking for. They do make a quality product from what I have seen. Unfortunately not all companies are equal.

Here is a photo of one of my collars and a competitors collar.
They both belong to a customer that drove almost 500 miles to upgrade before we went on vacation a few weeks ago.

We got back last night and had a terrific time even tho there was a lot of work involved by the way.

I came across this ad when looking up collars and on it shows that you can make your own type of design for you slave. So if you ever care to make a particular design specificly for you sub/slave this might be the site for you. yea im pretty sure its suppose to be shorter then that because i clicked on a banner that I came across dealing with it and just copy the address and shorten it but anyways if you care to make a collar specifically for you bottom,sub/slave or whoever that may be the site you might  be interested in exploring.

The poly family i was with got a set of collars like the sites shown, but they came form Mr.S Leather,....unfortunately, the chrome began to pit after 6 months of me wearing it.  One of the other slaves within the house wore his for 1/12 longer ( office job).  I enjoyed wearing it, though anything at the moment would feel good.[&:]

Le sigh. Le mournful sigh.

After one year (almost to the day) of wearing one of their gold filled wire collars.. I am not happy with the product any longer.

The 'gold' has worn off the edges and is wearing off the pattern itself. He paid nearly $200.00 for this and all I can do is hope that somehow he doesn't notice the problem because I am the one that chose the collar.

It is starting to look cheap and I am really disappointed.

So sorry to read this camille, I remember when you were looking for your specific collar.
He will notice eventually but should not be mad at you, you had no way of knowing that the plating would wear off.
