So it turns out that not only do I suck in real life bowling, but I suck in wii bowling too. But my wii avatar looks like a hot little Librarian so life is good...

Very interesting. I have no idea how well I would, or wouldn’t do, at wii bowling. However, I do ok on the lanes; both candle pin, and ‘big ball’. I could look like a librarian, if I wanted, but prefer ‘naively innocent’, free spirit. Life is good… Kim

Have you tried wii fit yet? They have hula hooping - you have to swivel your hips in an obscene way to rack up the points. I had a lot of fun with that one. [:D]

lol.... I understand the skepticism - I was too until Santa brought the system and I played it. It's a fun way to spend time with the kids and get some exercise in, that's all. Rock Band is amazing too ...

The WII fit is fun and a good starting work out. Golf is pretty easy once you understand the controls Car racing depending on the track is easy to hard ss... it also depends on how much practice Kyra has done grins The horse games are relaxing to do and also requires some small amount of planningto complete well. and with the WII I find there tends to be more interaction with each other then other video gaming systems. I just don't see replacing the bowling experience with a Wii. The smell of stale beer, cigarette smoke, and various greasy foods in the air. The sounds of crappy music eminating from a jukebox turned up too loud, video games, pinball machines, and dozens of annoying children running around. The occasional comic relief when some drunken bowler doesn't let go of the ball in time and hurls it through the ceiling (actually saw that happen.) . Ahhhh, the bowling alley.

I've not yet tried a Wii but I already want one. Since I saw them advertised when they first came out I've wanted it. Which is really weird since I've never had any interest in video or computer games. I think 4 different systems and come and gone through my house and I've never even tried them once. But this Wii thing looks like alot of fun. The generic dude that lives here, tried one for the first time when he went to his family Christmas dinner. He came back and said "We have GOT to get one of those here!!!" To which I replied "Get out your mouldy money and get one." We still do not have one.
