ORIGINAL: came4U Seeing an older video reminded me of my studies that were medical of nature but it does remind me of the one and only (semi longterm) tantric sexual experience I had. It did seem, although sacred Tantra is the aligned Chakras are spiritual and physical/sexual, that the most absorbant yet releasing point was through the top of my head. My partner was not yet even aware of what Tantra was. He (when I met him) planned on quick and get-off sex. He was used to the fast-fu*k method or any intercourse that included penetration with friction. For some reason, it didn't turn out that way and he was absorbed and impressed that we can sit in positions for many hours (up to 5hrs) with limited movement or sound and he would be mentally and physically fulfilled emotionally, physically and sexually. We weren't 'in love' with eachother either, merely only addicted to this tantric ability that brought us both to heights unimaginable. I haven't had that most awesome feeling again since, and I wonder if the expression of submission in it's deepest sense (without touch or speech) could bring it out of me (since obviously I am one who is sensitive to it). Is our pineal gland the entire weight of our bodies joint effort to feel, absorb and contact? Is it our soul that captures the body's spirit, eventual? Is it the combination? Does is sometimes never occur for some, and does for others? Have you ever felt that mind-blowing burst that seemed to come out of your skull during sex or intimate contact? I understand that tantra is in essence egalitarian but can this soul-giving only be done for you in the submissive position of 'giving' so much time, energy and adoration to one person for a given time. How (if you have been on the recieving end) does this absorption of the soul feel??? easiest explaination of the pineal gland: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=VmVaOYDQAiY&feature=related (forward the vid to 2 minutes) The great thing about Tantra? Same as the great thing about Ayurveda/Taoist/acupuncture/Rolfing/ and to skip a few more years Ericksonian/Rossi/Mind-body/Body-mind/ Reverse Therapy traditions.....which consider the mind and body as a continuum. What fucked me up was Descartes and the mind body split....all that apriori/aposteriori stuff.....What fucks me up is whenever i try to analyze if it's a this or that or the other gland/nerve/thought/reaction.....that's why i am an experiential phenomenologist. Tantra is cool though................
