Thick is better than slim, long is better than short.

Of the two, thickness is by far the most important criteria.

Men who use their penis size as their only or biggest selling point shows an undesirable lack of understanding of most woman. TammyJo made an excellent point as well about penis size. There IS a reason why most cocks are 'average'. Big cocks hurt. I do not like having my cervix bashed.... cervix bashing causes me the most incredibly searing pain. Most womans vaginas extend to about 4 to 6 inches when aroused, yes it stretches, but too much stretching is uncomfortable for a lot of women. My man is above average, and at certain times of the month (ironically enough, during the high arousal phases of ovulation, or just before menstruation) it can be just too painful as the cervical entrance sits differently.

Seriously, for most women, anything more than 'average' is ornamental - nice to look at, but not much use (target practicing aside).
