:P I'm partial to nutty, aged cheeses- Gouda, Gruyere and similar Swiss types. I also like fresher, more spreadable things like Chevre (especially nice with herbs and garlic). I can't stand blue cheese.

CFslaves2 -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 2:19:24 PM)

may i ask what is stilton?

LadyPact -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 2:22:55 PM)

To paraphrase, I've never met a cheese I didn't like.  [;)]

Seriously, when it comes to food, I'm very easy to please.  I don't care if the boy cooks it himself or orders a mean take out.  Feed Me after play, I'm a happy camper.

It's an English cheese.  It's usually blue but is sometimes also white, with the white usually mixed with fruit or berries.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stilton_(cheese)

beeble.

CarrieO -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 2:41:12 PM)

I spent 3 glorious years working at a gourmet cheese shop.
The only cheese I don't like was some "so hard to chew I couldn't focus on the taste" cheese from Nepal made from yak milk! [:-]

Love cheese....the stinkier the better!

CFslaves2 -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 2:41:18 PM)

Thank you very much[:D]

If a guy makes a good habit of washing himself thoroughly, he should not have to worry about cheese.

*dC doffs his Sarcastic Hat*

Actually, my favorite is pepper-jack.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 3:13:04 PM)

Huntsman, since it's half Stilton...  any of the blue cheeses top my list.  Honestly, there are very few cheeses that I DON'T like.  Brie---ew.  Some of those French stinky sock cheeses.  Generally, cheese is our friend!

MsStarlett -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 3:29:18 PM)

I like cheese that bites back.  New York Cheddar or Provolone are my faves.

CatdeMedici -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 3:38:03 PM)

I like cheese like I like My submissive--colorful, fullbodied and leaving a delectable after glow.

hardbodysub -> RE: Cheese (1/2/2009 4:39:19 PM)

Smoked Gouda is the gold medal winner for me. No contest.

We have yet to meet a cheese we don't like here though I'm talking hard cheeses; Fox hates all soft cheeses. And they claim I'm a picky eater -- HA!

Every few months we go and buy small quantities of three different cheeses or cheeses from other producers that we haven't tried and pair it with a wine we haven't tried.
