< start silly mostly pointless rant >

I just got back from a 10 day vacation with family(mostly good, lots o' bad), and while it was a lot of fun, I gotta say I hate to go out of town 'cause when I come back there's SO much in various web communities to catch up on.

I had--
-159 messages in my yahoo inbox, 10 of which were not spam.
-43 messages in my collarme inbox 7 of which accused me of being a cold, heartless bitch for not replying to their messages in a timely manner
-10 digests of non-professional mailing lists to read
-4 digests of professional mailing lists to read
-various journals to catch up on
-about a thousand collarme threads, with no way to sort through and find the ones I was following when I left.

I realize, this just makes me a huge dork who spends too much time on the internet.

Do like I do. Delete it all. It is only the internet afterall. You can't make other peoples issues your own.
Read the mail from friends and ignore the rest.
The people who are clueless didn't change while you were gone. They remain the same.

I don't mind the actual e-mails, but I hate sorting spam and I -hate- losing threads I was following. Grr.

Are you feeling sexy or hardcore? It'd be fun to find some sort of victorian bathing costume :)

Otherwise, lots of fishnet!!!

LOL hardcore, but I've never actually DRESSED goth before and have no time or money to create, so it's got to come from what's in my wardrobe now.

I hate going on vacation because I only have 3 weeks of vacation time. Plus a few days of comp time in the fall-winter. Those days are precious to me and I try to make them count when I take them.

I don't care about the pile of email. Heck, my mom sends me a pile of nonsense email daily (bless her heart)

Black, anything black, but NOT preppy, in My day it was called beatnick---black tshirt and jeans, or black shorts with fishnet hose and loafers---black jeans and a black tube top, gloves and a knitted scarf--black turtle neck with black shorts, black bathing suit top, jeans and a jacket--and clunky monster boots--and over the top black makeup, nail polish. lipstick eye makeup

uhm yeah My unmentionable is one---smiles thats how I know--every piece of clothes for Yule for her was black--

Mostly I did, but it's the time spent sorting that I regret. That and that I've lost the threads I was following. :( Grr
