Trust me, even the 'dominant' ones will submit if they meet their Dominant other half. [;)] Women are just built to be submissive. Why do you think they are (usually) smaller?

For the same reason that the jockey is usually smaller than the horse.  Some animals are bred bigger to serve better as mounts.  [;)]

Heh, size is only 'one' of the differences, it's just unnatural. Look at nature

If you are considering biology, after you deposit your sperm what need is there for you? The female has to live to give birth then to feed the offspring until it can survive and find it's own food.

Biologically, males would be more disposable than females for the survival of any species. If you are more disposable how is that naturally dominant?

The simple fact is that human being are more than just their biology.

If you knew any history at all, you'd see that repeatedly.

Oh dear.  Re that definition "'unnatural' is what other creatures don't do": I'm afraid lots of people are doing something else that's unnatural now - shooting fish in a barrel.

I've always wondered about this word "unnatural" -- how can we do things that are unnatural?

How could we honestly break away from nature completely and thus become unnatural?

Isn't everything we make from nature at some level?

GreedyTop -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 9:59:27 AM)

How dare you make sense?? LOL

That's the way I'd go with the argument, Tammy.  The only sensible way, IMO.  As I've said, the only alternative is to take the view that much of what we humans do - including reasoning and even thinking (on most definitions of that last) - is "unnatural".  At the end of that road of thought lies only a mountain of horsecrap.

I'd love to see a comprehensive list of ways in which that "it's unnatural" line has been invoked in support of some stuffed-up prejudice or another.  The earliest I've found is that which had it that men shaving beards or cutting their hair was against nature.

The most recent and enjoyable one of which I've heard concerns the man my father employed as security guard.  This suave fellow held that wearing underarm deodorant was unnatural.  (Though only for men. Buggered if I know why.)  Apparently, he always made the room smell like someone had just cooked a rich Irish stew in it.

My father finally bit the bullet and had a delicate word with him about it.  The next morning the man phoned in his resignation.  A few hours later his enraged wife turned up to enquire of my father as to why he was "trying to turn her husband into a fackin poofter".

So, does that mean the cat's not going to want to make love to you when you come to visit?

Lockit -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 12:37:06 PM)

hehe... I want to know this one too! hehe  (Have no idea what you are talking about... but I still want to know!)

Venatrix -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 12:41:04 PM)

Well, cats typically like to bury their noses in smelly things.  I used to have one that looooved my ex-husband's dirty socks.  He'd lie on the floor (the cat, not my ex-husband) and roll around with a sock on his face, purring outrageously.  So, if PforH ever did come for a visit, and the cat doesn't want to make love to him, it would mean that he wasn't smelly enough.  PforH *seems* to be implying that he is acquainted with the concept of deodorant.  Though I suppose there's only one way to find out.

Lockit -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 12:48:32 PM)

ROFL.. so would that make him a frackin poofter?

PeonForHer -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 12:49:51 PM)

It'd be unnatural if any female of any species failed to want to make love to me, V.  Please don't weary me with silly questions.

Lockit -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 12:52:29 PM)

ROFL!

That would be fackin poofter, Lockit.

Could we please stop talking about deodorant?  If I take a trip to the USA, I won't be able bring enough of it for every American I meet and I don't want there to be awkwardness.

My cat's a boy.  He's been "fixed."  Can't wait to see how the two of you get along.  You should have a lot in common.

Indeed, he is.  Do you want to go first, or shall I?  Or perhaps we can turn beating PforH into a new Olympic team sport.  We'd better get cracking.

PeonForHer -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 1:29:30 PM)

My cat's a boy.

What, so your cat's a poofter, V?  My word, that pioneering instinct really is alive and well in the US!

Lockit -> RE: How do you view female submission? (1/5/2009 1:29:48 PM)

Snap, cracken, pop... to the Peon Olympic's we go! I want to make him scream like a girl! hehe
